The Blue Bear, installed in 2005, is a real standout in Denver. The playful 40-foot sculpture is the creation of local artist, Lawrence Argent.
The escalators on 14th Street entrance/exit play a laughing/giggle track. No, seriously.
Please don't feed the Big Blue Bear. If you do, make it an interior decorator instead of an architect. Definitely do not feed Casey Duncan to the bear. That would be bad!
Don't stand behind the Big Blue Bear. That is not the best vantage point for which to view him!
Originally built in 1990, the center was expanded in 2004 to twice its original size now having 800,000 sq ft. The center hosts over 400 events a year including the AIA 2013 National Convention.

Multiple venues within the CCC. Some like Bellco Theater are good. Exhibit Hall C is terrible. Worst acoustics imaginable for cheerleading, music any thing with audio. Chairs look padded but are poor.
