Meet some of the island's inhabitants up close. The macaque monkeys are all too happy host an encounter with you up close.

Pleasantly relaxing spot to sit / rest / picnic (but beware of monkeys) on concrete steps along West Promenade of Coney Island Park, facing Pulau Ubin. NO camping at Coney Island Park.

Pretty much untouched sans some pathways for easier walking. Bring insect repellent or be prepared to get bitten by mosquitoes/sandflies!

Evidently there are wild boars on the island. NParks has posted what to do when you encounter wild boars.

NParks has posted guidance on what to do if you encounter "the cow". Basically, don't attract attention and move away.

Only the West Promenade and East Promenade on Coney Island are paved. All other tracks are unpaved and can prove difficult for road bicycles, strollers and wheelchairs.
