If you're already a Coop's veteran, the shrimp remoulade salad makes a good snack
The country fried chicken is ungodly amazing! So tender and juicy!
Trust your server. It is one of the best places in one of the greatest food cities. And it is worth the wait.
Best damned jambalaya you'll ever have.
Jumbalya supreme. 'Nuff said.
Really healthy pours on liquor!
Coop's Taste Plate is a little sample of everything!
Rabbit Jambalaya is as good as what I make at home. Tiny little bits of dark scrapings from saute of holy trinity - onions, peppers & garlic.
Rabbit n Saussage Jimbalaya is best in NOLA!
rabbit jambalaya and fried chicken. heaven on a plate :)
Waitresses are rude. Don't split checks. And the food is nothing to call home about. Everyone recommended going here but honestly it's overrated..
two words: duck quesodilla
We're from the south. We don't hake hands, we hug and kiss. An eat w people we don't know. Enjoy it.
FRIED CHICKEN. WoW!!!!
Hey vegans and or hardcore kids....very good veggie burger here, good beer prices and really good vibe.
A beat-up joint described by Zagat as "where the not-so-elite meet to eat". Perfect description. If it's your first meal in NOLA, try their Cajun chicken and jambalaya supreme.
take care of miss fay and she'll take care of you. love all dem galz dere.
Their duck quesadillas may be the best thing I have ever tasted in my life
You can't find a bad thing on the menu. Come at of hours to escape the dinner rush.
Best food we had our whole trip. Poboys were huge and the gumbo had whole oysters and shrimp.
Totally worth the wait! Grab an Abita and order the rabbit jambalaya and the duck quesadilla - you will not be disappointed!!!
Awesome food! Local flavor. A must visit when in NOLA
1. Rabbit & sausage jambalaya2. The bathroom is the hottest place I have ever been in my life.
Best creole beans!
Jambalaya is the best I've ever had.
Get the red beans and rice with fried chicken. Soooo good.
Lamb Ribs as an appetizer and then the Jamabalaya Supreme
Not always on the menu, but the crawfish biengnets are great. My mom swears by the rabbit and sausage jambalaya.
serious bloody marys
cup of gumbo to start, then pasta jambalaya or pasta opelusas ... just do it! its EPIC :)
Turtle soup!! Hint of clove oil!
Well the service has gotten so bad I just can't go anymore. I have been here over 30 times but its so bad and we have so many choices in the city to continue to go to a place and be treated awful.
The Cajun pasta does NOT disappoint. The couple who ate before us called it "orgasmic."
The food is amazing. Be prepare to stand in line and get shitty service tho. I think it part of its charm
Try the Jambalaya Supreme (via @Foodspotting)
This place may not look like much but once inside the food and the service are both excellent. If you have to wait to get in - do it if you can. It's worth the wait!
Most amazing crawfish étouffée. The one from Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday are better. :) cuz it actually made me not want the jambalaya supreme or the fried chicken (can you believe that?!)
Smoked Duck Quesadilla what?!!
Go early to avoid the queues of tourists. This place is New Orleans squeezed into one building.
This is the definition of a dive bar lol! But the fried chicken is incredible!
Also really good burgers, this unknown gem is getting more popular lately.
Get the duck quesadilla, ribs, and chicken tchoupitoulas. All effing delicious.
Get the red beans and rice w/the 2p chicken!
Try the Blackened Redfish - With rice and creole green beans (via @Foodspotting)
