People tend to check in during these times:
Grave markers dating back to 1625! So much history. And the grave markers here are thin and leaning, like something from a scary movie.
Don't miss this Freedom trail highlight. Kids were blown away.
Boston's 2nd oldest burial ground containing the final resting place of around 10000 people.
Copp's Hill Burying Ground, located in the North End and just a short walk from the hotel, is the resting place for many of Boston's passionate preachers.
In 1704 seven pirates were hung here. Crowds gathered on the hill & surrounding boats to enjoy. These days Johnny Depp achieves a similar awe in theaters with his portrayal of Captain Jack Sparrow.
Dating from 1659, Copp's Hill was Boston’s largest colonial burying ground. Cotton Mather of the Salem Witch Trials rests here, and the British used the hill during the Battle of Bunker Hill in 1775.
