Several garden patios dot the space between the museum (always free, by the way) and the Trammel Crow Building, providing a scenic break for families with kids. Powered by

The museum is free to the public. It is a small museum but well-curated.

Super friendly docents and desk staff, even though I went to a late night event and they were most likely exhausted. More intimate galleries than the Nasher or DMA.

Great collection of Dilip Raval photography on the first floor, and a small but interesting Asian collection of artifacts on the second floor. It's free, so check it out.

Midnight at the museum is a great idea. The collection is fantastic and worth to see. You must read from the little books in each hall to understand the meaning of the art. Staff is really attentive.
