We did the 2 mile hike on pinnacle trail! Loved the trail and will return to do the crowder montail trail hike which is about 2.8 miles long

Best place to hike! Climbing the rocks and the amazing view is by far only a couple things that I love.

Kings Pinnacle trail is a great way to exercise and you are rewarded by an excellent view of the Queen City on a clear day. Crowders Mnt is the perfect place for an easy day trip from Charlotte.

If hiking Crowders Mountain, hike the Tower Trail first from the Linwood Access Area then come down the Backside Trail. This way you ascend flat ground and descend the 336 steps on Backside Trail.

Great place for hiking, canoeing and watching soaring raptors. Hike to the top of King's Pinnacle and see if you can spot the Charlotte skyline.

Enjoy MY mountian. Make it YOURS too; the more that claim it, the more that'll help conserve it.

Take along a plastic bag and pick up any debris that less considerate people leave behind along our beloved trails.
