Rainbow Foods understands that you don’t live to shop...you shop to live. Our promise is to make sure that everything we do always lives up to your life.
Start with a small load if you've never used the self checkout before!
I think people are too hard on this location. It's very conveniently located, the staff is friendly, great place to meet new people, and we all shop there once in a while!
If you think this Rainbow Foods is sketchy you probably shouldn't have left your small town.
Hey Lady with 30 some items! The self check out is for convenience!!!
This place is sketchy!
Don't come here hungry, you'll end up spending way too much money.
Honestly, I like the place and there is a lot to choose from the people there are friendly unless your an all year grouch
Take your items out of the basket if you have to wait for the person in front of you
It's like Walmart people-watching, with a hipster twist.
Don't go on a Monday morning.... The shelves are bare and it's un-fresh.
Try all the food.
Don't be too hard on Uptown Rainbow. I suggest getting the readymade pizzas near the deli over the frozen ones. Cut it in half (or quarters) and cook the other chunks another day!
This grocery is pretty rank, but at least it's open twenty-four-hours.
See how long you can hold your breath to avoid the stench of the unbathed while you pick up the items you forgot at whole foods.
This is where dreams go to die.
Really great salad bar! The deli is always really good and reasonably priced. Also, love the fresh meat and seafood too. Rainbow has made some really great changes in the last year.
Never go to the bathroom here.
There's usually hot eye candy walking around at any given time.
I saw Brother Ali shopping here once
The cashier lines are comparable to Valleyfair. So much fun!
Ugh..... Already playing Xmas songs
Hip as place. No need 2 b critical unless U r some sort of acclaimed food snob :~0. Just sayin' shop elsewhere where U get pampered 2 for xtra $$$
Practice your grocery store pick up lines ;)
A great place to observe the human species while food-gathering on this place on earth--one of the more liberal districts in america. Hug
Worst grocery store in the metro. Unfriendly, high prices, terrible produce.
Sketchy, long lines no matter the time of day, expensive and yes, strange unbathed people hang out here! Only plus open 24 hours, but fire that I go to Kowalski, also 24 hours and much better quality
If you want banana chips avoid the prepackaged ones. The bulk isle has them for much cheaper!
Hang on to your shopping cart. People like to move them to random parts of the store!
Every time I come here I get so frustrated with the crappy quality, long lines, and high prices I ditch my cart and leave!
Much better than Rainbow
They seem to have stock issues with the transition to Cub. Also the prices are significantly higher than what Rainbow had. Might as well go to Lunds.
Working out the kinks transitioning to Cub...higher prices, more pre-packaged produce, fewer choices.
Go to Lunds
Probably the jankiest grocery store I've ever been to in terms of shady people hanging about. But I can't justify spending more for less at LUNDS. Uptown problems...
Some parts of the store are very seedy, and the staff is inflexible & unhelpful. They need to keep their service center open later in case of bus emergencies.
Shop early -- avoid the rush!
No items scanner. =(
It can be hard to shop in the mornings as they don't get out and stock the produce and some shelves until after 9.
This place is a mad-house Sunday afternoons! Whoa! Be ready to wait in line and skip the ice cream - it will melt.
Shop at Cub instead. The produce is fresher.
The little old cashier lady is such a bitch... Don't go to her line, she is unfriendly and rude!
Slowest cashiers ever.
Careful when driving past the front of the store. There are posters blocking the window so you can't see who's looming out of the store to step into the crosswalk.
The tuna croissant sandwiches from the deli case are great! Only problem is that by the end of the night, they are usually gone. So I get roast beef, which are still pretty good.
Don't shop hungry when going on a trip for only 3 days...
Beware the delicious looking brownies that are always strategically placed right inside the entrance!
