The cookies are fresh baked behind the counter and are surprisingly delicious.
the Intelligentsia espresso if fantastic: rich, bursting with fruit afternotes. Pairs well with their blackberry and mango muffins ... nom nom
Protip: Time your visit for the late afternoon when they've just pulled out a sheet of fresh chocolate chip cookies out of the oven. Warning: You may die of happiness.
Thank God for Culture Espresso Bar.
This place is great if you want to read overly redundant tips about the damn flat whites and chocolate chip cookies... When you're done with that crap, just get a machiato and enjoy the hipster music.
Try the Figgy
Try the Flat White - Rich & smooth. The perfect drink to get your caffeine levels back up.
All the pastries are amazeballs.
Try the flat white, our personal favorite.

Warm cookies #ftw
A fabulous espresso bar with some fine sandwich options on the chalkboard menu, located amidst the bustle of West 38th Street.
If you haven't had their chocolate chip cookie you are missing out
Best cookies ever!
I love Culture but I'd recommend you avoid the drip coffee. It's unspectacular. On the flip side, the best latte I've had in my life was made here.
Rotating cast of roasts, and consistently great coffee (I've encountered Counter Culture, Intelligentsia, Stumptown, and now Sightglass). These guys are heroes for bringing non-generic to midtown.
The chocolate chip cookies are the best on earth. No lie.
Get the flat white. I promise I'm not racist.
can't beat the chocolate chip cookies straight from the oven. the figgy sandwich is also delicious!
Order an iced slow coffee and oh, do try the cranberry mango bran. So good
A refuge in the abyss of good coffeeshops (aka midtown). Their chocolate chip cookies are to die for - giving Le Vain a run for their money with their gooey centers and crispy edges.
Coffees great. Staffs extremely standoffish and rude. Ruins experience.
Uncommon personality and quality for this part of town.
Hit this bar, then enjoy your coffee in Bryant Park.
Cold brew coffee, home-made cookies, and beards. A little piece of brooklyn in midtown.
If you have an extra minute ask them to make your coffee with a chemex, less acidity without sacrificing flavor.
Just off 6th Ave, the stools in the full-front window provide a view of Garment District workers and tourists, while you enjoy a well-crafted espresso or pourover along w/ a Scratchbread scone.
Best espresso in midtown
Best coffee in the area... Get a flat white! Yummy!!! Pastries are so good too!!
They have a seasonal maple cappuccino which is absolutely delicious! And their chocolate chip cookies - fresh out of the oven, gooey in all the right places, decadent and sweet and sinful - yum.
I just paid 3$ for the worst espresso of my life and I had to write it somewhere. Per tutti gli italiani in cerca di un caffè, cercate ancora!
If you're looking for a beverage that will give you neurological disorders, involuntary twitches and superhuman abilities, then order the Nitro cold brew.
Great coffee, great crowd. Wifi password: 2123020200
Obnoxiously loud music, pretentious staff, long lines but hey, the coffee is good so what can you do.
WiFi was acting up on our last visit, but the pour over and green tea cookie were delicious. The vibe is great, but the space is limited, making this a perfect spot for a quick stop between meetings.
Fantastic gluten free chocolate, pecan, coconut cookie. Yum.
Everyone that works there is presh, and the Kyoto iced coffee is delicious!
Get the figgy sandwich (prosciutto, goat cheese, arugula, and fig spread on baguette) mmm...
Iced tea FTW
Amazing fresh baked cookies.
One size fits all at this quaint shop in Midtown. Some of the best espresso in NYC.
Smooth espresso, tasty sandwiches and quite possibly one of the best chocolate chip cookies in the city.
try a cortado to stay. enjoy listening to the baristas' (Aussie?) accents. pretend you're not in midtown but are in fact somewhere much more your speed.
Heavenly cookies, and espresso , it is a real NYC jewel
Keep looking. Hard to find. Not on corner. It's worth it.
If iced coffee is your thing, try Kyoto. It is really good
