Typical German, clean, quiet, fast service and everything right on it's place. You can easily reach the dutch border (to Venlo or Nijmegen or even Maastricht) with train.

Nice, clean, comfortable and quiet. At least terminal C is rather small and not much to do if you have to wait for a connecting flight.

Prepare yourself for frustratingly slow queues at security. Most people don't empty pockets or remove jackets til the last minute.

Wifi is free only for 30 minutes. Otherwise, that's a pretty nice airport. Security checkpoints are modern, passport control is fast, coffee's also bearable.

Be careful during transfer flights via Air Berlin, because if it's not enough time for moving your luggage from first plane to second it obv will be held in airport till the next flight to your dist.

If you have a morning international connecting flight, then you better hurry to the immigration counter. The no. of people queued up are (usually) far more than the no. of officers at the counter.

If you are going to be more than a couple of hours the flight club by gate b 71 is a good deal. Only 21.00 euros for a day pass includes internet food beer and wine and peace!

Get your food outside in the "Airport Arkaden" Area. Excellent Sushi. After security the choices are limited and overpriced. One of the few airports left with lots of smoking areas
