People tend to check in during these times:
The best Italian I tasted in China. (Confirmed by the awards!) Rocket salad, codfish, cheese plate, wine, desert all are affordable and delicious! Some great looking deserts were sold out though.
May be the best Italian in town but definetly for me it is the best! The Pizza taste like in Italy, noodles, seafood, meat...all is worth to give it a try. Ambiente is great as well.
Don't get the cheese gnocchi with spinach: all the dishes going by look amazing and tasty, and this one looks like a thick green soup with zero attention to presentation! Taste was also disappointing
Spritz in the City is Back (saturday 7/7 from 18.30).Music, spritz, finger food, dinner and, after, continue to be entertained in G+ club. Free buses from the Expo to Xintiandi.
The homemade pastas are a disappointment and uncooked homemade pastas are deemed fine to be served to customers - rude waitress and manager also adamant that the uncooked pasta are fit to be consumed!
Food just amazing! I particularly like the seafood soup and the stake. Pizza and pasta are very good too. Trust me, you won't regret.
Service needs to improve drastically. Swordfish was suppose to be fresh but it's frozen rubber. After complaining they tell you this shit quality it's how it should be.
Food got much worse. They seem to start getting cheaper ingredients: aragula leaves are huge and old, shaved Parmesan is not savoury, cheap and not mature one. Big disappointment after long time.
Very good food but horrible terrible service. Soup came last, seemed to forgot about it, waiters never respond, have to wait for long time. We were completely ignored. Will not come back here.
For starters try the mixed cold cut. Then go with the grilled seabass and finish with the delicious pear pie or tiramisù. 200/250¥ rmb per person
Da Marco has been our go-to Italian restaurant for the past 6 years. But today (April 2016) we found the details falling apart, even though we spotted Mr. Da Marco on the premises.
If you know how take the order it is the best Italian family food in shanghai if you wrong to order it is the number 1 in shanghai I like it
It's actually really good food, and a fun energetic atmosphere. My Italian friends have approved this place, if that means anything.
Second visit, second disappointment. This time tried the lamb chops - 40% fat, 100% tasteless :( I should have learned, stick to the pizza at half the price...
Very tasty food and cozy place. Come early or reserve because it get's quite full. Pizzas are nice but HUGE. Better share them :)
Ask the Chef for the "Charles Pizza". Less carbs and full flavors on a ring of pizza bread.
Looking for Italian taste in Shanghai? This is a go to place for delish food.
Go for the Carpaccio as an appetizer! This is a great restaurant with very decent prices! Highly recommend it!!
Real pesto!!!!! Something I haven't had since I left Europe. The restaurant is located inside the Metropark service apartment.
Ask them to bring vinaigrette bottle for your starter bread. BTW, salmon pizza tastes really good per price.
Angel hair seafood pasta very good. Pizzas very good. Fried seafood appetizer good although bit salty
Try the gnocchi gorgonzola. Pizza is good too. One of the best Italian restaurant on town.
Great classic Italian food from this SHG famous Italian place, great atmosphere and great & simple food
The right restaurant if you wanna italian foods in Shangai , I advise pizza numbered 8 in menu.
One of finest Italian restaurants in Shanghai. Make sure you check out their great appetizers
Excellent Spritz - cheap- only 46rmb - and of good quality!
The best Da Marco in Shanghai. Avoid the other ones. Very good pizza under 90 RMB.
swordfish carpaccio, torelloni ham pink sauce, any pasta is good. dare to take special ones.
Ask the Chef to make you the "Charles Pizza". Less carbs, and full flavors in a pizza bread ring.
Pizza was good, the salad n starter were way too salty. Local waiter/waitress got attitude, lousy service!
Get the Filipino waiter if you want things done right. Rest of them dumb as bricks.
Mixed seafood was delicious... but they should improve their wine menu
Surprisingly good Italian food. Much better than those in HK. Recommended.
Agreed. Best Italian in shanghai 2006 to 2012 and counting. Best balance of taste, quality, price, service and setting.
T-Bone it's one of the best steak, don't hesitate to order!!
Better than the one at Grand Gateway. Still service is average and food just ok.
Check out the fashion shop next to it while you're waiting for table.
