The place shut down on 21 Dec, but the taglierini (top) was indeed prepared al dente, and so was the rigatoni, as my Vietnamese friend, unaccustomed to firm noodles, attested

Typical West Village prices, but not worth it. In three trips there for various reasons, the best dish has repeatedly been the artichoke appetizer. Pasta was al dente. Massive portions.

Good food. Most of the servers were friendly and nice except ours who was incompetent, forgot one order, took forever to get the dessert menu because he was busy chatting and had an uppity attitude.
