People tend to check in during these times:
Check out the free jazz nights to hear some great jazz, for free.
Still overpriced food for the quality but convenient for a show... a captive audience.
Expensive, not entirely sure it's worth the price but great concert venue!
Great place to catch some really good music and nice bite to eat. Romantic, eclectic, a good classic!
Patty Peterson and Friends !
Live music is great, just get the set menu option, sit back and relax
The potato leek and arugula soup is just the best!
Poutine is awful. Had fries that weren't quite done. And where the heck was the 'brown sauce'?! Non-existent!
Order drinks as soon as possible.
Voted Best Jazz Club by City Pages Best of 2014!
Flatbread and spreads are great for a classy app while enjoying jazz and cocktails.
Along with Yoshi's in San Francisco, this is one of the two nicest jazz clubs I've ever been to.
One of the JNG's favorite places to play!
Adam Meckler and co. do'in it right
Awesome Jazz life music
My FAV place to hangout when I'm in the Cities. Great music and food. Love their Belvedere gimlet cocktails:)
Went here for my cousin's rehearsal dinner. The food was delicious, but the music was incredible! What an amazing evening.
Great food. Fabulous venue.
Catch the late show, sit in a romantic booth and order from the late night happy hour menu for the perfect (inexpensive) date
I've never had oysters as phenomenal. And if you are with a group not as fond of oysters as you, the bread that comes with it dipped in the sauce is heavenly.
Great food, great service and a wonderful atmosphere
Don't tip on the admission fee that is added onto your food and drink bill.
If you are there for the music, before they seat you, ask if your seats have an unobstructed view of the stage. Many don't and are sold at same price without warning.
Great atmosphere! Great "date" spot. We could actually talk and the music was great. Only Downfall no ranch dressing 😳! The food was great - Salmon Sandwich yummy!
Come early mid week or "no food for you"!
Amazing music! And food!!
Stop by for the late shows - (Midnight ish)....see legit up and comers....
Voted Best Jazz Club by City Pages in 2012. Whatever your music tastes may be, you are bound to come across either an old or a new favorite playing at the Dakota on any given night of the week.
Order the scallops! So good. The fries with bernaise are also great.
Make sure to catch Kevin Bowe and the Okemah Prophets/Alison Scott!
Their pisco sour is one of my favorite cocktails in town. Bitter blood orange juice and honey peppercorn syrup. Amazing.
Lots of alcohol. If that's not what you're after, keep going. Great steak though!
Amazing atmosphere, food & service.
Minneapolis! R&B vocalist José James plays the Dakota 12/14/11 at 7 & 9:30pm!! You won't want to miss this one! Give us a shout (@AMIagency) when you check in!
Alex Frecon will one day perform here.
Even the knee wall next to the bar is a pretty good spot to sit.
Two words, Viva Brazil! The local music here is 1st rate must hear!
Best late-night music in town - for $5 Friday and Saturday come see great local musician - some jazz, some not.
Mango Gaspacho is a great cooling treat on a hot day!
Favorite spot to hear jazz in Minneapolis. The knee wall isn't too bad of a spot to sit.
An intimate place for incredible music, food, and drink. Check out late night groups like Viva Brazil.
Voted Best Jazz Club by City Pages in 2011! The club is regarded as one of the premier jazz clubs in the world, and the sound is always first rate.
Cover for the shows are waived w/ a $20 per person purchase on Foodie Nights. Live music from folks like Les Nubians, Judy Collins and Bobby Lyle.
Nachito Herrera playing? Don't sleep. Less $$ than the big names that come through, but consistently amazing on the keys.
Try the Jalapeno Poppers. These trashy-wonderful bar menu poppers are stuffed with fontina cheese, wrapped in speck ham, and lolling in chipotle cream.
So the bathrooms are really clean. I say that's a plus.
