People tend to check in during these times:
Everything is fresh and locally grown!
It has just opened. Not so many stores are open.
Was here for the Dallas Observer Brewfest. Pretty fun!
Saturdays are the best day to shop here
Beware, supporting "local" doesn't always means things are organic! Most produce at the DFM are conventionally grown with pesticides. Only 3-4 small stands are actually organic. Be sure to ask!!
Get Roomies Ice Cream! New ice cream stand with handmade waffle cones
Not too thrilled with the vendors or set-up. It is more like a bad craft fair than a farmer's market and the produce I purchased was worse quality than I could get for cheaper at Sprouts.
Although the market is vastly reduced in scope due to the construction, the vendors are true farmers and craftsmen. Definitely still worth a trip
The Market was officially sanctioned in 1941, and today it is open to the public seven days a week with Texas farmers offering fresh berries, peaches, corn, lettuce, meats, flora and more.
Attend events like Brew Fest or buy local produce.
