DART just added a train stop at Terminal A that's super convenient. Takes about an hour to get from Dallas but worth it (only $2.50!). To get there from airport go to A10 & take elevator downstairs

Traveling with mom with a wheelchair, delta is THE best!! So helpful, our attendant said " I will take care of your mom, you do your items in security" fantastic, and so helpful!

Lots of great food options just remember that it's a big airport and takes time to get from one side to another. Also all the restaurants stop serving food at 9:30PM so don't wait until it's too late.

Taxis here are expensive. If it's not Sunday and you have an hour for travel you can take the South parking shuttle to the Trinity Railway Express shuttle then get to dtown Dallas or Ft Worth easily!

TSA staff incredibly FRIENDLY! I had a boarding pass issue on this trip through, and agent walked me to the hallway to show me where to go and told her buds to let me back through. And the did. :)

This airport runs smoothly, easy to get around, more than enough amenities per concourse. Draw back is the massive area(distance) covered to get to the concourse you need to be, even with the train.

TSA TIP #3 Remove your laptop(s) and shoes/belts while waiting in line for the x-ray machines and carry them in your hands to be ready for the bins, remember laptops are placed in a bin by itself.

Course C's guest lounge is perfect: Tucked away behind Starbucks and near the Skylink entrance, this area has bar-style seating, comfy chairs, a TV, plenty of power outlets and an office nook! Nice.

Check out Gate D. The art here is amazing. If you're at Gate B, ride the train over one exit to get there. Also check out the Texas Stadium Bar and Grill. The chicken salad sandwhich is good.

Gotta try cousins bbq in term B and D. Quite possibly some of the best smoked brisket ive ever had. Get sliced brisket with the sauce on the side. The other stuff is ok, but brisket is top notch.

Super easy to navigate once you get the layout. Skytrams are inside of security and are very fast and easy to use. Many parking options on/off site. Lots of remodeling so be aware of this.

This big airport is about the size of New York City. Lots of different terminals; be early, quick & patient with the airport train when making connections between flights, it is easy to get lost here.

If you're a fist time visitor this airport can get super busy. For international flights I'll recommend arriving four hours before and domestic two hours. The service is great and everything is clean

If you're flying AA & taking a parking shuttle, you can check in on any AA flight at terminals A, C, or D & then take the skylink train to your gate. This helps if you're about to miss check in time.

DFW Airport Valet on the terminal level of each parking garage is pretty fast and returns your car to whichever terminal you return to. A text awaits you when you land with instructions. Love it.

For international travelers: if you don't have any checked in bag, look for Green Carry E-Z sign at the immigration hall. It will bypass Baggage/custom area and get you out faster than Global entry.

One of the world's busiest airports, DFW has top-notch facilities and getting between terminals without the train will prove impossible. DFW also does not provide free WiFi, and charges $7.99 per day.

You may THINK you know how to get in and out of the airport, but with the amount of roadworks going on, stay calm and keep your eyes peeled, your exit or entrance has a tendency to change...

While I'm of the belief that TSA is inefficient by principle, this is by far the most I efficient given the size of the airport. Make sure you get there at least 2 hours early for domestic flights.

When American says one carry-on and one small item, they mean it. They were not going to let me take my camera unless I packed it into the bag front of them! I think they are gunning for TSA openings.

I always take the execucars so I don't have to fool w/ parking. The airport is huge & has everything you need inside. I hate that aquafina or whatever the brand is the only type of water you can buy.

For the Dallas Houston flight, Terminal E almost shuts down completely at 7pm. If you have an evening flight out of E either eat beforehand or go to Terminal D (lots of food). You can use the skylink.

If you're renting a car, when you return the car you can check in (w/o baggage) for your flight at the two kiosks at the Rental Car building on the second floor. Could save you a lot of time.

If you have time between flights, take the train to Terminal D. The newest, largest, most pleasant place in the whole complex. Lots of good shops, restaurants, clean bathrooms, & comfy places to sit.

Unlike other big airports, there's not a great sample of local taste inside. I really wish they'd open a Sonic and or Taco Cabana in the terminals, and you wouldn't hate to leave home so much.

If you arrive in a terminal different than where u parked. Take Skylink to the terminal where u parked. Get your car and drive back to the other terminal park in one hour and go back in for your bag

The airport is huge! And you have to pass through migration and baggage claim even though you are in transit.... I would recommend to have a special 1 or 2 lines for people flying somewhere else...

This is a big airport. If you're here for a connecting flight, go straight to your gate coz the stops of the Skylink tram are frequent due to several gates.

The WiFi here is free, but very spotty. You occasionally have to re-log on and watch a video every once awhile. WiFi doesn't work on the SkyLink when between terminals so you lose connection.

DFW Airport is THE best airport! LAX, LaGuardia, O'Hare, Denver International,...all pale by comparison. I have yet to come across a better one. Brilliant design and functional layout can't be beat.

DFW is my favorite airport and I always make sure my layovers are there. I don't think I've been anywhere but Terminal D, which is awesome. I've never been unsatisfied by what I've found here!

Dallas Fort Worth is a very large airport. There are a number of fast food restaurants in Terminal A, including PopEye's Chicken. For nursing moms there is a nursing room by gate A-18.

If you're connecting through DFW and need to clear customs, plan to have at least 2 hours between flights. If 1 flight leaves you at terminal D and your conn leaves from A prepare for a nice sprint.

If you are stuck at the airport and you have small children, go to the skylink level and ride the train. It makes a big circle and will give the kiddos a chance to see lots of planes.

Skylink is a lifesaver is you only have moments to spare between flights. The airport itself is quite vast, so if you've got an hour or two to kill there's lots to see and explore!

Despite how huge this airport is (third largest in the world!), it's so simple to maneuver around. When it comes to parking, your best bet is parking off-location and taking a shuttle!

Most military friendly airport HANDS DOWN. If you fly American, be prepared for gate changes for your flight since DFW is their main hub. Terminal D is the best terminal in the airport.

Some terminals are a good distance apart. You have to take a monirail from one to the other. Prepared to spend some time getting to your departing flight if you're making a connection.

Call (972) 973-4411 ext. 0 if you can't remember where you parked. They'll drive you around in a courtesy car until your Alzheimer mind remembers & you tip them to recover from your embarrassment

Make sure you listen to announcements and watch the departure board closely as the airlines do a lot of gate changes to different terminals and sometimes don't announce them on loud speaker xx
