Take the train at this airport - getting around without it is impossible! Really cool airport feature - the planes that taxi-in drive over bridges that cross highways!
Congratulations on arriving safely to the airport! But this doesn’t count as visiting Texas. #DontBlowIt
Art lovers, listen up. From large scale sculptures, to paintings, to mosaic floor medallions, you'll find a world class collection of art work at DFW terminal D.
I hate American Airlines
Charge up your toys at the Samsung Mobile Charging Station!
The third busiest airport in the world in 2009, it’s the largest in Texas. Have a great flight!
Sky Link is your best bet between terminals.
Walk through the "glass maze" at Terminal D - it's a soundscape. It's different each time depending on how quickly you walk through it and/or how many others are inside the maze at the same time.
This is our hometown airport! Be sure to check out the yoga studio and walking path in Terminal D!
Noboby does BBQ better than Texans. While at DFW, try Dickey's BBQ at A18, C6 and E12. Enjoy Cousin's BBQ at B27 and D28 for some great smokey flavor.
BY ALL MEANS! Even if you're there in one of the 4 terminals, hop on the Sky-Link and travel the tram through the 4 terminals. Amazing experience!
When going through security I highly recommend Jeff. His TSA pat down skills are respectful and gentle.
Highly recommend fastening your seatbelt.
Terminal D is great. Take time to check out the excellent art!
Eat at TGIFriday's - not because the food is particularly good (it's not), but because they sometimes play Muse. Muse rocks me out.
Unfortunately, the airport has a strict "No Sleeping Drunk Homeless People" policy.
Layover? Amex Platinum Cardmembers flying Delta can relax in style at the Delta Sky Club near gate 10; membership has its privileges!
I like Terminal D at DFW. Everything works well.
American Airlines sucks.
Need some ranchwear while in Texas? Stop by Lone Star Attitude by gate C33 in DFW. We like the Lucchese hand made cowboy boots.
If you want a Healthy Snack, get a frozen yogurt at Red Mango!! I love the Pomegranite w/ Ghiradelli dark choc chips!! :-)
Thanks for the swarm badge, Dallas. Tip: marry a Texas girl.
Welcome to Dallas! If you want to listen to the local NPR station, turn your dial to FM 90.1 (KERA) or 91.7 (KKXT). Enjoy your trip.
"The bigger the hair, the closer to god!"
since everyone is bashing AA let me say how my trip went. Departed on time. Was smooth and fast. Got here 35 min early. Anothe great job by American. Thanks guys.
Check out Texas Stadium Skybox bar as they have big gulf shrimp on ice and Cowboy gear adorning the wall. Its located by gate C25 at DFW.
I hope you remember where you left your car.
Terminal D is the new one at DFW. Great food and shopping with a clean airy feeling.
Order a gingerale when you fly. Because let's be honest, in a plane is the only time you drink gingerale.
If you have time between flights, take the train to Terminal D. The newest, largest, most pleasant place in the whole complex. Lots of good shops, restaurants, clean bathrooms, & comfy places to sit.
Terminal D is one of the nicest in the US. If you have a long layover take the Terminal Link train to eat and drink there.
Time for my first solo :)
You can't say "bomb" on an airplane...
A great airport to connect in, but an awful airport to drive to!
God Bless Texas... Good to be on Texas soil.
If you see employees or airline crew sitting at a restaurant, that place is probably a good bet for food.
There are 5 Red Mango frozen yogurt stands at DFW!
Need to get to a different terminal? Use Skylink. Look for yellow columns to reach this elevated train. But hold on--it moves fast. Older travelersshould should use the limited seats.
Peace out Dallas!
Have some time to kill during a connection? Stop in at La Bodega wine bar in terminals A and D to sample some Texan wine (as well as wines from all over the world).
Hit A28 for free wifi.
The skylink is fun. :)
Terminal E, apparently not as exciting as Terminal D.
so much less sketchier than lovefield!
Try the airplanes... IF YOU DARE!!!
If you're fortunate enough to land in Terminal D, it's like an entirely different airport - inside and out. Safe travels.
