Is the main gateway from Manila and Cebu to the Eastern Visayas Region in central Philippines. The airport is named after Daniel Z. Romualdez, a former speaker of the Philippine House of Representatives.
Baggage scanner broke. I'm wondering where the 30 pesos terminal fee goes.
If you arrive early, there's no good place to chill. But "carenderia's" nearby serve good foods though at an affordable rate :)
Need to say this airport is hell.
Always make sure to have a cash since this airport does not have an atm machine.
Heaven bless this city! This airport right now is operable only for military air transportations due to typhoon Yolanda ie Haiyan.. God bless the children the most needy victims..
Prepare to be extra patient. With the overly delayed renovation still on the way, this airport remains one if not the worst airport in the country.
Prepare your "patience". This airport is one of the lousiest airport i've ever been to. Very unorganized!
Prepare your ears for mind-busting noise made by children. Find absolutely no comfort in their CR. So disappointing.
Worst airport in the country for sheer inability to renovate after over three (3) decades of planning.
Same old airport... Nothing has changed after so many years... They need to renovate this place.
Airport terminal fee now @ 75php, paying exact amount would contribute to faster pre departure line.
There's word going around that the budget to renovate the airport got transferred over to Bacolod's due to the Romualdez-Petilla feud.
The x-ray machine is still not functioning. Manual inspection of belongings/baggage is still being done by airport personnel. Same thing since August 2013-the last time I was here.
I wish the guards who examine the baggages would wear gloves or use a stick in checking the items inside.
When you are advised to check-in 2hours before the flight, it doesn't work here. They're still closw, well this is the case when you're taking the 1st flight
Not enough room for the waiting area
They don't have carts here. No proper ventilation too. :-/
Brace yourself to a SRO, inadequate chairs on peak hours.
There's a poor chance you'll get a seat in waiting area. This airport is too small and too crowded.
As of July 1, 2013 their new Terminal Fee is P75.
The terminal is small. You should come early to avoid the rush.
The authorities here need to reorganize the place. Confusing queus, crowded space, not so well ventilated. People though are very courteous and friendly.
Going for a snack? Don't forget your priority number when you fall in line at the only store in the boarding area.
Will get its renovation soon.
For PAL passengers, If you arrived four hours before your departure time you can stay at PAL office for your convenience
FREE Wifi Internet service provided by Bayan Telecommunications! Approach the booth and try it! ;-)
Restoration and renovation must be done soonest
There's a terminal fee now worth 75 pesos (~1.68 USD).
Check-in early, ask your ride to wait, visit the MacArthur landing & come back. There's nothing to do yet at pre-departure so you might as well support local tourism sites.
Long queue lines await the passengers, so come as early as you can.
Haiyan devasted airport, no stores yet as of today so bring food stuff.
If a group children will approach you while walking downtown, trying to sell you a thing or two or asking for alms, better check your belongings! You might not know what's missing in your bag/pocket
Always prepare exact 75 pesos for terminal fee because the ticket lady would literally ask you to go outside and look for a change. Very bad customer service from the ticket lady.
Passengers needs to wait outside the terminal because the terminal is CLOSED no zestair personnel until the scheduled flight!!!! Good thing it's NOT RAINING, have to endure the heat though. :-(
Zestair DON'T provide waiting area for passengers arriving early though they're occupying the new terminal. Zest personnel arrives 2 hrs before the scheduled flight. Only then the terminal be opened.
New airport terminal for Zestair NO SCANNER/X-RAY MACHINE! I wonder does P75.00 terminal fee worth it? Where does goes? Terminal departure area does not opened until 2 hours before the flight. :-(
Terminal Fee raised to Php 75.00
2 baggage scanners are broke, be sure to organize your baggage, manual scanning is on.
Terminal Fee: 75.00
Terminal fee raised to 75 pesos
Still need a whole lot of work to move up to an international airport... I am however hoping that this happens pretty soon... Lets keep our faith up and push for this to become a reality...
absolutely needs a NEW terminal
Terminal fee increased to P75 last July 1, 2013! :(
Needs renovation ASAP!
Overcrowded. Needs to be renovated. Limited food stalls
newly elected officials, you seriously need to renovate the airport, its overcrowded, and the seats are uncomfortable..😡
FREE WIFI :)
nag increase na ang terminal fee.. from P35 to P75.. haha
