The Danish Design Centre is Denmark’s knowledge centre for design. We develop and disseminate knowledge about design and work to promote the use of strategic design in Danish companies and public sector institutions.
Learn and explore remarkable design creations at this Copenhagen knowledge center, which features both Danish and international exhibitions. Do not miss the Café DANSK and the Centre's shop.
I was kind disapointet about DDC. Nothing to surprise you here. I'm sorry but that's just how it is.
If you feel boring, just watch a girl of reception~ Be happy!!
There is no more exibition. ㅠ.ㅠ Just office building.
Sounds much more interesting that actually is...if you must go then check out the display in the basement by the toilets.best bit there..
materials exhibition is very interesting for sustainability
What the what? Totally not what I expected! Thought I would see great Danish furniture design. This place is a yawn!
The quality of the exhibitions varies, but the sandwiches in the café are always worth trying out.
There is no exhibition of design anymore, only cafe and offices
They no longer have any public displays, alas. Just a cafe and then private offices. Not worth a stop any more, sadly.
Closed now but it will be great when it reopens in April! Superb Lighting...
Awesome museum, great exhibition and also very good cafe. Everything is great! Love dcc, Kobenhavn and Denmark
50 kr. entry and free with Copenhagen card but not worth of it. Few design items and items in exhibiton about interesting materials is not working or not at all. Don't go if you are not really bored.
The exhibition about materials was well done (August 2012), the Danish design history exhibition was a bit disappointing though.
Great exhibition on Danish design. Well worth a visit!
cool design museum
Interesting exhibition on 'wants' 'needs' and recent innovations on reusable eco materials used in product/fashion design.
Good place to get inspiration for great projects.
Wearable glass is a great reflector. Look the difference in two clothes.
The museum makes no sense, it appears to exist just for the shop, which is nothing extraordinary either. Not worth money or time.
The gift shop was amazing
Very disappointing. Bad presentation and not interesting. Incredible. Only shop is nice.
Agree with peanutbutter; sounds more interesting than it is.
Boring exhibits, dirty museum, cluttered displays. Save your money and go to Christiania.
One of Copenhagen's best design shops, a great café and of course exhibitions. Love everything in the shop. Theme at the moment is travel light.
The exibition is quite small but admission is only 25 kr at the moment due to a water damage.
The store is full of items that will appear clever right up to the moment you try to use them.
I couldn't imagine so small museum. Just 3 chairs, some books, some dresses and that's all...!!! Seriously, don't pay the 50Kr.
The museum has closed about a year ago. Nowadays only the café is accessible to the public.
As has been mentioned, the museum is no more. This is merely a (very well designed) cafe and offices...
Wifi for #smwcph events: Guest (no password)
Danish Design Centre is no longer an exhibition venue. We focus on inspiring events. Thursday Oct. 3rd. 5pm Crossover concert with Louise Hjorth, recorder, and Lars Bech Pilgaard jazz guitar.
Unfortunately no more exhibitions. Lovely spacious cafe instead though!
Great hitech gift shop for travelers
Don't go. Lame.
One of the few places that provides free public wifi.
la mostra Challenge Society, in calendario fino al 19 febbraio 2012
Здесь очень стильно, крутые вещи (хотя часть из них есть в Лебедеве в Москве) и здесь можно спокойно дождаться открытия глиптотеки с чашкой кофе в руках :)
