Tip: order the oysters, catfish, crawfish, or anything else on the bar menu during happy hour. Owners Dan and Kyle have come a long way since I met them at 8 years old, and then high school at SJCP.

Wonderful happy hour, Blake was attentive and informative. Best oysters we have ever had in Houston. Seasonal menu had lots of tempting affordable dishes, we indulged and had the Pablo Crab soup.

The Oysters Kyle are surprisingly yummy. Similar to mussels in white wine, butter, herbs, and garlic (Provençal) served up North, however, the meatiness of the Gulf oysters are so delicious.

$5.25/doz oysters are the bomb. Gumbo, not so much. Whoever said they were the best in Houston is on crack. Not chunky enough, weird dark brown color, super salty, also had this potent bitter flavor.
