Probably one of the better and more luxurious burgers I've ever had.
This is how French server a burger. No, a bit different from your average burger. Paired with French onion soup, you get one satisfying meal
Still going strong. This bistro offers excellent renditions of French classics plus their upmarket version of hamburger (with foie gras). Their evening set courses are excellent value.
The burger is the specialty, but don't be shy to order something else
Great place for lunch. Comfortable and relatively calm scene. The DB Burger is a meal on its own and the Fries are delicious and super crispy. The food was presented beautifully and tasted wonderful.
The Original DB burger, $35 When Daniel Boulud stuffed braised short ribs, foie gras, and preserved black truffles into a ground sirloin shell, he forever changed the face of upscale burgerdom.
Pâté de Maison, duck confit, Mrs. Brevard cocktail, lamb tagine. Almost everything is very good. I have yet to experience something that was bad.
The burger is to die for
Infamous db burger
Daniel Boulud's the most casual restaurant has many of americanized menus. Duck confit was great.
The lobster salad went beyond even my high expectations. Plus I got a vacherin for dessert...not even sure what that is but it blew me away.
The coq a vin is a must.
Classy place and very good breakfast
The DB Burger was out of this world! But quite pricey.
Very nice spot for brunch. Definitely recommend it in the area.
Exceptional restaurant. Food and service beyond anyone's expectations!
There are so many great classics to have at my midtown bistro, from the tarte flambée to the escargots fricassée and of course the decadent DB Burger! Perfect for a quick lunch or pre-theater meal.
What every burger should be!!!
The biggest burgers I ever ate!!
Gotta have the burger and fries. The best!
I had the db Burger.. it was amazing!
Terrific apple dessert. Great food food and atmosphere all around. Nice contemporary European Restaurant.
Retro! Love the vibe and the prix fixe lunch was great!
Original DB Burger
Daniel Boulud's French-American mashup restaurant with great bistro fare alongside burgers and fries.
The maitre looks like Bert Kruismans, and is twice as funny, which is actually not that hard...
I can't recommend breakfast here. Coffee is great, very dark, but food is surprisingly ordinary. You'll pay $25 for three small pieces of soggy French toast or $22 for a bowl of oatmeal w/ berries.
The Original db Burger
Burger is a must have, cardiac rest follows, but tastes amazing...
The Original DB Burger is featured on Eater's 2013 Ultimate Burger Bracket, FancyPants Divison
Not a good place to dine alone. They don't have a bar to dine at.
Famous for it's burger!
Everybody seems to advocate for the burger - but also try the coq-au-vin, the spicy cod with chorizo and vegetables, or the fois gras... yummm! Great wine selection - try Austrian Gruener Veltliner.
The food just melts in your mouth, but we had to wait forever for the check.
Gotta go for burger royale -
Try the legumes rotis - Awesome presentation. They used dried black olive bits as "soil" for the veggie garden in the bowl. Get without cheese to be #vegan
Try the French toast. It is light and crispy with a tangy-sweet syrup and delicious dips. Unlike any I've ever had!
The breakfast bread basket is just awesome.
Try to get the wine list into your hands, otherwise the sommelier will just read "selections" to you.
Amazing croissants, duck and lobster; the yogurt is extremely fresh as well.
Stuffed with short rib, foie gras, and truffles, it's quite unique...and you can really taste the foie gras!
Lobster salad and yummy French toast, still steaming hot. Fries weren't bad either!
Try the The Original db Burger - Sirloin burger filled with braised short ribs and foie gras on a parmesan bun
