Fourteen house-made varieties of sausage, oysters, beer and, as usual, Chef Boulud doing everything he does brilliantly.-Wylie Dufresne, Top Chef
do the ménage a trois. and share it, obviously.
The rustic yet sleek interior was dreamed up by designer Thomas Schlesser who also did Chicago’s Publican. - Inspector
Chef Daniel Boulud’s pub-like restaurant also features a great “by the glass” wine selection. – Chef Robert Irvine, Worst Cooks in America/Restaurant Impossible
Excellent, rustic French fare. All the burgers are dynamite; however our favorite is “The Frenchie”. If you’re up before 11AM on a Sunday, try the brunch which is equally delicious.
Get the Frenchie burger.(ask for the mustard on the side.)
Try the hamburguer and spot it on Foodspotting!
Named after CBGB, Daniel Boulud has created a great environment here. Come here for lunch and get the prix fixe for $27. We recommend the lamb merguez sausage or piggie burger.
For a great red wine, check out the Mas Cal Demoura "L'infidèle" 2008 from France's Languedoc region. A great wine at a great price!
Part of Daniel Boulud’s Michelin-starred empire, DBGB uses local seasonal ingredients and traditional charcuterie to showcase the best of American and French cuisine.
Go to DBGB for the meat. Stay for the beer. Ask for the Berliner Weisse. Finish up with a trip across Houston to Whole Foods' beer section for continued carousing at home.
Star chef Daniel Boulud's gastropub, serves three heaping burgers: The Piggy, with pulled pork and jalapeño mayo; The Yankee, with Essex St. pickles; and The Frenchie, topped with confit pork belly.
Frenchie Burger is awesome, but im a sucker for anything involving duck confit.
The menu offers an up-to-the-minute snapshot of what young New Yorkers crave right now. Sausages—from hot dogs to classically rich boudin noir—are a draw, as are the burgers.
Sausages, links, meat filled in a casing — whatever else you want to call them. DBGB has got them and they are delicious.
Awesome gastropub from Daniel Boulud – try the Toulouse Bangers, Beef Bone Marrow or The Piggie. Beer Tasting Tuesdays are $25!
try db's dog
Fantastic 3-course prixe fixe lunch option for $27. If they have the roasted beet appetizer, get it!
Daniel Boulud has done an excellent job with this restaurant. The food? Exquisite. The service? Excellent. The atmosphere? Enjoyable. Definitely recommended for those who love great food and wine.
Baked Alaska is quite a treat!
Pull up a seat and try the bloody mary at the bar. Spicy, but not too spicy.
Great beer selection & burgers
Great place to go in a group and share sausage plates, also get the Frenchie burger!
Cool place, very good food, service a bit slow.
Serious no-holds-barred gut-busting high-end burgers & sausages & delicious cocktails that pack a punch. I can never seem to resist ending with a decadent ice cream sundae. Leave your diet at home.
Winner of Best Sausages in the Village Voice 2011 Best Of issue! Tube meats have never been this delicious - Parisienne is our fav variety.
Try the Croissant with Banana and Chocolate Sauce and spot it on Foodspotting!
Don't forget dessert! The chocolate sundae is unreal.
The Hitachino beer is awesome!
Sausage fest. Literally, sausages everywhere. But apparently they're great.
Best hot dog and service ever! Great place!
Daniel Boulud's casual East Village restaurant is all about gourmet sausages and beer.
Don't sleep on this chocolate-hazelnut sundae. These people know what they're doing. Get it after dinner here or come in just for this dessert.
Chic with a great atmosphere. Our recommendations: the Louisiane sausage and the Tunisienne on a bun with mint yogurt. Main dish? The steak frites & the lamb duo are spectacular.
Holy piggy! No questions asked! With Bacon and Cheddar. Holy piggy.
DBGB cranks all week and for good reason. Ordered the Paleron Carbonnade (flat iron steak braised in dark beer). Never had anything quite like it before.
the piggy burger is definitely in my top five burgers in nyc.
Great for groups, try the smoked pork & cheddar link, hash browns red onion crème frache
My selection after 8 months of regular dining: Brunch = waffle, French Toast, (Chocolate) croissant. Toulouse Sausage, Tunisian sandwich, the saffron brown butter skate are musts. Coffee Sundae :)
Take the edge off with a beer out of their broad selection of domestic and imported micro brews. Avoid getting hammered by ordering Daniel Boulud's excellent bar food.
loved The Piggie
