One of the best cocktails I tried this year was at Death & Co. Gin, cinnamon, bark syrup, and chardonnay. It made a completely different taste and alchemy in my mouth. -Elizabeth Falkner, Top Chef M
Go before 7:30pm on Sundays through Wednesdays. Sit at the bar. Don't trust the doorman's time estimates if he puts your name down--it's very hard to predict when people will leave.
One of our 10 best Manhattan bars- Expertly made cocktails somehow manage to remain in the realm of the relatively simple. Delicious bar snacks help you prolong your stay.

It's hard to call this a "speakeasy" since its front door is anything but hidden. Still, the cocktails and cuisine here are some of the best prohibition-revival offerings in NYC.
