People tend to check in during these times:
Most amazing scenery. December is an optimal time to visit.
You really need to drive the "Artist Drive" on your way to badwater. Stunning surroundings.
If you are going to the Race Track, drive very carefully, don't get a flat!
Hot isn't the word...scortching hot
So. Very. Hot.
Be sure to visit Badwater Basin but please try not to lick the salt rocks. 😜🍟
Zabriski point is definitely a must stop in the Death Valley!
Visit the information office and take a map with the important and popular places... It's very hot, take water with you. Amazing views...
Home of the Skywalkers.
PAnamint springs is a great place to stay in the summer - it's cooler than the valley!! :) campgrounds have a nice view and usually isn't crowded
It is really hot.
Car enthusiasts: In the hot months manufacturers take their cars here for hot-weather testing. Look out for them taking a break in the car park at Furnace Creek.
The scenery looks (literally) out of this world. In summer take plenty water and sun protection. Zabriskie Point, Badwater, Artists Palette and Ubehebe Crater are places not to miss.
iPhone Maps worked well - expensive food - VERY NICE PEOPLE!
The Race Track is awesome - food is expensive - Rangers and Employees are all very nice!
This place is incredibly beautiful, but so...very...hot. Wear protective clothing, a hat and don't forget to take lots of photos! Bad water basin is amazing!!!
Free open wifi at Stovepipe Wells gift shop. Check in before your iphone overheats!
Fresh desert air so nice.........
Leave plenty of time. The distances are quite large as all the attractions are scattered throught the park.
At night there're amazing stars in the sky! So beautiful and exciting
Cycling from Furnace Creek to Dante's View is fantastic but not for those out-of-shape. 40+ miles round trip. Don't forget a windbreaker for the descent. 15 degrees colder at the top.
December here is awesome. Shortened days are made up for by the pleasant weather. Also (oddly) less crowded. Start your day early.
Take the extra 15 minutes to navigate "Artist Drive" for some of the most spectacular views of Death Valley.
Very difficult find the sliding rocks!
super neat place
UNBEDINGT genug Wasser mitnehmen! Man sollte mit ca. 1 l pro Std. pP rechnen. Im Sommer ist es so heiß, dass innerhalb weniger Minuten der Mund austrocknet. Ansonsten uneingeschränkt empfehlenswert!
Me gusta muchísimo.
Хорошее место, есть что посмотреть.если как не будь занесет, в эти кроя выделите Death Valley пару дней, и этого достаточно.
Urcite si nenechte ujit zapad slunce za Sierra Nevada. Nezapomenutelne!
