Really wish they mentioned that there are two locations. Missed the cave tour, then was not allowed to rejoin our group. Wine is good
Next stop before bouchon
Were there on Saturday just little after 17. And they were closed :(
Ask to try their olive oil. It is delicate and delicious.
What a beautiful place! The tour gives you chance to try 10 wines right from barrel, history of the business& comes with great delicious food to help the pallet
This is definitely one of the best vineries in Napa. I will always return and order remote whatever it costs.
Cave tours are SO worth it
Pompous and dumb. This is NOT The Napa I love!
The venetian architecture and decoration was a bit much. But fortunately the wine speaks for itself. We will be back.
If you are in the mood for local, local flavor, make your way over to "Captain Rons," where the wine and cows are chased in flipflops. Bring your decanter. House directly behind Del Dotto wine caves.
Their French Cabernet is exquisite. Del Dotto's main attraction being the wine caves, is an excellent way to explore their vast selection and taste some of the best wine in the Napa Valley.
Make sure you meet Dave Del Dotto when you are there, lots of great stories
Over the top Venician fun with amazing wine. At the newer caves in St. Helena you get the tour, tasting and great cheese, meat and olive oil selection to eat along with pizza!
The caves are something to witness
We got 7 pours for the price of 5. Delicious Chardonnays.
They have a designated driver lounge for your limo driver, complete with a/c and flat screen.
The cave tour is amazing and you get a generous amount of tastings straight from the barrel
Gorgeous wineries and very generous pours. You'll definitely get your money's worth when you reserve a tour.
GREAT winery - highly recommend it! The 2009 Cabernet Franc is to die for!
Steven G said it, hire a driver! Another good choice is DesignatedDriver.com, they also drive private and rental vehicles at a low rate and have full insurance coverage! Cheers.
Second tip: the owner, Mr. Del Dotto gave us a personal tour- out of this world! The caves are gorgeous, definitely worth it, awesome wines!
Don't believe Sideways- the merlot is great here! Try to get a tasting with Brandon, he's a wealth of wine knowledge.
Good wines and one of the most beautiful wineries that i have seen around the world
