This place is absolutely terrible. Had it on 3 separate occasions and was completely disgusted
Meat lovers skillet
Oreo milkshake is definitely worth it! Can't beat their friendly service either.
various types of food. for a variety of people. workers do speak Spanish.
Open 24 hours. Great breakfasts
Low Carb Steak Dinner with tomatoes and avocados
Decent breakfast, but nothing all that special.
Try the veggie burger. Very reasonably priced for a Chicago eatery.
Not impressed. Asked for over easy eggs /got hard/basket and gravy cold and hard
Slow service. Over 30 minutes to get my breakfast
So gross. Stay away from the Bloody Mary. They use fruit juice instead of tomato juice. Slow as fuck service
Really good diner food :)
Try the blueberry pie if you are a blueberry lover, the prices are great $
Whoever said the food was cold.... Mine burnt my mouth all up!!! The food was piping hot!! Careful!
Great spinach & feta omelette. Spinach is chopped up and mixed perfectly with the eggs.
Best pancakes in town no fooling !!!
Had a cold omelette and hash browns that were uncooked and still frozen inside. Have been here a few times and am underwhelmed.
This 24 hour joint is a classic in more ways than one. Vinyl booths galore, but messy foods at low prices, and rowdy local flair, too. Free Wi-Fi makes it all the better. Wifi password: 100deluxediner
Good diner food at a good price. Classic 50s diner decor.
The Big Fat French Toast is the most amazing thing if you are craving sweet. So. Much. Win.
Pretty good food for an awesome price. Perfect for college students. Meat lovers skillet is a fantastic breakfast option.
Pretty good place. Friendly service, good food , decent cocktails.... But service is very slow
Meat lovers scrambler with pancakes. Probably the best breakfast I've ever eaten!! Service can be slow though :(
food keeps getting colder each time I go
They had a team from Food Network here January 5, 2012, not sure for which segment or when it will be aired.
I eat here all the time, and yes, I've seen the kitchen. Ask for the greasy carb coma menu, in the bright neon colors! Try the panini menu; they're all awesome. They've also got a new hot dog bar.
Place has rats!!
24 HR spot for after party munchies. :-)
Overpriced, slow service but a typical 50s diner. Conveniently off Clark Street as you enter the heart of Rogers Park. If you can, go a bit further north to the Heartland Cafe... a better choice.
Jukebox heavy on 80s classics... "She's a Maniac at your door..."
Cheese sticks? More like cheese blocks! They are huge!
Meat lovers scrambler. I dare you to finish it
Had a good ol' patty melt and onion rings. I used someone's free wifi...was it theirs? The lady two booths down was almost killed by her husband long ago and had to tell her friend loudly. Gotta luvit
Screw toast, you can get a side of pancakes.
Re: Biscuits & Gravy... My fave bkfst dish ever. Plus, I'm kind of drunk, & still won't eat it... That should help you decide... Hehe
4 years later, & the biscuits & gravy is still horrible!
The $8 omelette is heaven. 2 meals worth of fluffy eggs with any topping, pancakes tasting like candy (or crack), and a mountain of hash browns that aren't soggy or greasy. A yummy bargain!
Restaurant.com has awesome gift certificates for here. $10 for $25 worth of food!!!!!!!
Try the Stinkin' Garlic Bread - Amazingly intense. #garlic
The breakfast burrito is the ONLY thing I come here for *drools*
Try the hot chocolate... Do it now.
24 hour breakfast food!
Ordered the breaded chicken breast sandwich with bacon and provolone and it was awesome
Skillet plates were greasy & gross...biscuit & gravy tasted awful, and we saw a mouse dart in and out of the booths when we were getting ready to leave...I'll never be back...
The waffle fries are good but the drinks are badly mixed.
At this time of the morning? Order whatever your drunken self desires. You cannot really go wrong with desire...(-)
The cheese sticks are worth trading your soul for. Seriously. Fo reals.
