Make sure you get on one of the red or blue swinging cars for the full experience. The yellow cars are for the less adventurous.

There are two lines: one for swinging cars and one for stationary (which is often shorter). Whichever you chose, be sure to snap a pic from the top! Fun fact: The Wonder Wheel weighs 400,000 pounds.

So slow, but where else have you ever seen Ferris wheel cars that actually slide back-and-forth independently on separate rails as they continue to go around the circle? Old-fashioned fun

1918 steel makes this scarier than your standard ferris wheel. White cars don't swing (haha), and the views are great.

Highly (ahem!) recommend the outer wheel, stationary cars for the longest and highest view of the oceanside scene. Take a deep breath if your car stops at the peak, as it did on my ride w/a friend.
