One of the world's leading museums devoted to contemporary design in every form.
Keep an eye out for their great evening events.
I liked the women, fashion, power exhibition
Quirkily curated design exhibitions.
Another London museum, here you'll find a mix of clothe design, furniture design, they have a little section dedicated to how the red cabins were created, London Olympic Games.
Enjoyed the top floor's interactive exhibit about design. Close to Tower Bridge & food venues.
Whatever is on here, it's worth the trip. The shop too is stuffed with cool (often expensive) things. But where else will you find electric paint?
Worthwhile, mind-expanding stop on an walk with endless interest along the Thames
The "Woman Fashion Power" exhibition is amazing
Симпатично. Есть на что посмотреть.
Great building with very interesting exhibitions !
Rather small museum but with interesting special exhibitions and a fantastic bookstore
We were a bit disappointed
My favourite place in the whole of London. Great Museum and been a member for the last 10 years. Will miss Shad though when the Museum moves.
A page for people who like any artistic form of expression: painting, photography, drawing, digital photography, sculpture & others.I'm the author of few https://www.facebook.com/DaMaskoArts
Just opened 'Hello, my name is Paul Smith' is a beautiful exhibition for those who like design and fashion. Great inspiration and work!
Second floor was open for renovation when I visited. It's a fairly small place.
The Blue Print Cafe is just inside and a great way to finish off a day of culture with a great meal.
I hate to be a negative Nancy, but it's kind of underwhelming compared to New York Design Museum.
New exhibition on 3d printing - The Future is Here
They have some amazingly great products in the shop from Keepcups to Raspi's to many more gadgets and design objects.
Small gift shop. :(
Enjoy all the new things made by designers from everywhere! And this is also a temple for Britain's evolution in the 20th century. Perfect!
Very disappointed when there is this little to see they should make it free to see.
Sooooo hard to find!
Some really cool things next to some really wanky things. Worth a visit though :-)
Amazing museum. Enjoyed the place
On snowy days the entrance tends to be icy. Be warned, very slippery!
1 floor was closed:( but interesting to see when and how the railways signs and font were developed, telephone kiosks, first Imac which started using USB as standart and many others
Not worth £12. Cluttered, old fashioned layout, very dark. Lack of care and eye for detail. Needs a lot of work. Looks great outside though.
The only thing that had something to do with design was the shop in lobby. Anything else — arty-crafty out-of-date crap.
Какой-то странный музей дизайна. Хотя вот интересная деталь. Дизайн купюры 500 Евро, точная копия моста на о. Русский, т.е. наоборот!
You will find a lot of pretentious people here.
Great collection of design books in the shop. You're sure to find something for your taste.
Ideal on the weekend, followed by a stroll along Butler's Wharf. Standing exhibition alone is worth a look, but the special exhibitions fascinate for hours.
Some digital art stuff are now displayed at the museum!
Designed to Win Exhibition, July 25 – November 18
พิพิธภัณฑ์เล็ก ๆ ที่ยิ่งใหญ่ด้วยแรงบันดาลใจ ☆
Really interesting little museum by shad thames. Be sure to wander around shad thames if you've got time.
Perfect for a quick visit, the Design Museum’s two floors will leave you with more design knowledge than you expected. The cafe on the first floor is lovely as well.
Because good design should not be touched!
Become a member the Museum needs all the help it can get as it is only funded mainly by donations and revenue.
Bit expensive for what it is, but the gift shop's amusing.
The future isn’t possible without innovative design and efficient use of scarce resources. The Design Museum upholds its mantra by showing the best of design and architecture - A lesson in lifestyle
Spend some time at the shop, great books and gifts!
A hub for all matters of contemporary international design. Here, a remarkable balance is achieved between hyper-progressive technology and the history from which it came. Great podcast, too!
This is one of the first museums of modern design, which exhibits industrial, fashion, product, and graphic design works, among others. Located at 28 Shad Thames. Open 10am to 5:45pm
