Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (DTW), or "Detroit Metro Airport" as it is commonly known, is one of the world's largest air transportation hubs. We're served by 15 airlines with nonstop service to more than 160 destinations on four continents!
Big Airport, I got lost, trying to find my way out ;)
First time I flew Delta in 15 years ..much better than most other Airlines, easy to communicate on line, kept me posted on changes. I'll fly you again.
All the convenience stores sell Pepsi products, no Coke products...
The #Starbucks near A64 has the best #cappuccino in five airports! Plus the baristas are all happy and want to make my coffee! ☕️☕️ #redcup #Delta #Detroit
Love this place - good food and two delta clubs - just a lot of walking !!
The tram is actually much faster than walking. If you are in a hurry and hungry grab the first fast food place you find because you might not see another one near your gate.
There are dots all over the windows which make taking pictures impossible. :|
plan ahead for parking if you departing from terminal M. Parking for short term and long term costs almost 22(long term), 29(short term) dollars a day. Other parkings are quite far from terminal.
Zero line at security in Westin hotel. But also zero sense of urgency from the one old guy working it.
Starbucks now by gate 40
WiFi, great service!
Weird walkway tunnels
Clean airport, lights are amazing!
That tunnel is awesome!!!
See ya !!!!!!!
Modern airport with excellent food options and an amazing attached Westin. If you need to be stuck at an airport, get stuck here.
Use express train instead of walking A LOT
Slowest baggage claim in the country
Great airport. I've never seen it too busy.
Stop by the food court for some delicious food and drink options.
Two words. Revolving sidewalk.
Need better signage to get to C terminal from A.
Be prepared to walk a lot!
This is a cool airport. Definitely take the tram to your gate, otherwise it's a long walk. There are a lot of good food options too.
best airport ever
Don't carry luggage for a stranger!
Try the airplanes!
Chick-fil-A opens by Gate A72 on May 15th, 2015
Best airport in the country. Easily.
Use the tram to get from gate to gate.
Nice airport. Internal train connection is great. Lots of resting area.
Delta has two Skyclubs and is a large international hub for them.
Nice airport, stop for sushi near gate A35.
Perfectly nice airport.
Nice airport.. The inside train running along the roof is convenient. Decent shopping throughout. All announcements in English, Japanese, Mandarin.
Great place to spend time during a layover. A wide variety of restaurant options and shopping.
Sushi in terminal A close to pf changs
Really easy to navigate.
Lake Michigan: Michigan's 300-mile western shoreline features seemingly endless stretches of beaches, dunes, wineries, orchards and B&B-filled towns that boom during the summer!
Got to love those 20 min layovers. The layout here is easy enough to figure out as you're running to catch your connecting flight.
Very nice terminal. The indoor trams are great
Take the express train when moving from gates A10s to A50s. And of course the psychedelic tunnel. Can't believe Detroit has such a modern airport !!

Free wifi. Weird light up/musical tunnel between concourses
Hart Plaza: Situated along the Detroit riverfront, it has a little bit of everything including an ice skating rink, theaters & public art. You can also walk or take a cruise along the river.
Phone charger outlets and comfortable seats plus plenty of options for a pre or post-flight meal,
Express train between terminals is important for connections!
