For their authentication process, i liked it coz you'll have your documents ready in no time. For their passport processing, i've heard it is a little inconvenient coz of their long lines.

It's not necessary to buy brown envelopes sold by vendors outside gate 2 anymore when you're processing for your red ribbon as long as you brought your own folder with you.

Almost everyone has no sense of customer service. They shout and talk to people in a not-so-friendly manner. The only friendly employee i saw was the white-haired lady in the processing area.

Scam City Alert: you don't need brown envelopes with plastic when applying for or renewing your passport. Vendors outside are yelling that you do.. Just bring the requirements on the list.

For first time passport applicants (online appointment): print all of the pages inlcuded in the pdf file of the application form. The checker will ask you to hand it over to them.

No need to buy envelopes sold by vendors near Gate 1 for passport renewal. Line for photocopy is long. Bring photocopies of ID, and both front & back of passport to save time. Airconditioning is good.

Even when they say be there 30 min before your appointment time, it doesn't hurt to be even earlier than that (like an hour) because the like begins outside at the verification counter.
