$1 pizza shames this place. 1st two times here, badly burnt but at least ok where not burnt. this difara classic was a soggy mess uneven toppings, unsupportive crust. Best rip off pizza....

    An insanely good slice.

I order a pepperoni & basil pie and it was absolutely phenomenal! Definitely eat a hot slice before you walk away, if you don't you're doing yourself and the pizza a disservice
  • James K.
Recommendation: Get there before it opens as it gets packed quick. We preferred the round pie. Sauce is amazing! 🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕

Authentic square slice is heaven. Expect to wait +1hr, worth it - the sauce is delicious. Friendly service. Ask for some slices to eat and BYOB while you wait for your pie. Top 3 pizza in all NYC.

Don't go hungry, expect to wait 1-2 hours for a pie. Get the square pie. Best sauce!

This is the best NY pizza there is. Prepare to wait longer than you're quoted but it is 100% worth it. Highly recommend a square slice with soppressata, even if you're already getting a regular pie.

FABULOUS. Lines & parking are a major hassle.

NY native and 31 years living, hands down the best pizza I've ever had. Wait the 90 minutes, get a pie with basil and garlic, and you'll quickly realize why they are the Peter Lugers of pizza.

Good, not mind-blowing. Not worth waiting two hours. Be careful of the time estimate when you ask how long it'll take; it'll be off by 4-6x. Go for the square before the round, and don't order a pie.

Best pizza in America. Don't ask for anything special, just get a margherita or a square slice.

Delicious pizza with an especially crisp crust and Dom's authenticity. Is it worth the trip just for a slice? Maybe not. If you're 15 minutes away must you go? Yes.

Delicious famous pizza. At this spot it's all about the sauce, since the crust gets quite soggy.

If you can handle the wait (and maybe the trip), the margherita slice is the best pizza slice in NY, possibly the world. You will spend $5 and regret nothing. I have never had anything remotely close.

I stopped by on Sat around 7pm and got my square slice right away. I admire the man how he make them, but it definitely was not the best pizza I had. It was thin and crunchy but the rest was mediocre.
