Best pizza in America. Don't ask for anything special, just get a margherita or a square slice.

Delicious pizza with an especially crisp crust and Dom's authenticity. Is it worth the trip just for a slice? Maybe not. If you're 15 minutes away must you go? Yes.

Ask to use the bathroom; you get to go behind the counter.

When asked to describe this pizza, my brother (hi, yes, a departure from the royal we!) simply quipped, "old school no bullshit." We're sold. Read more

So the pizza is excellent, but is it worth the wait and price, I would say no. If you got $40 and time to kill go for it.

You’re bound to wait at least an hour before getting your pie at this legendary Brooklyn favorite--but don’t worry, a frosty glass of BYO Riesling will be your reward…along with incredible pizza. Read more

Delicious famous pizza. At this spot it's all about the sauce, since the crust gets quite soggy.
  • Christopher V.
The sauce was literally one of the best I've ever tasted.
  • Kodi M.
If you can handle the wait (and maybe the trip), the margherita slice is the best pizza slice in NY, possibly the world. You will spend $5 and regret nothing. I have never had anything remotely close.

The Sicilian pizza is good. But it's overrated

Classic pizza is perfection. BYO but hard to find anything nearby if you go on Sat. Walgreens had beer.
  • Rami I.
Authentic high quality pizza. Hard to get your order in and often extremely busy. It's either a delightful pizza or too frustrating a wait.

Out of the way, but Dom DeMarco knows how to make the perfect pizza pie!🙌🍕🙌

This is an experience like no other. I don't think you're going to get a pizza like this one in any other place. Watching Domenico prepare them with love and care justifies the usual long wait.
  • Ernesto S.
    Long wait, great reward
  • Addison S.
Who doesn't love #Brooklyn pizza? Seriously. The wait can be long, but it's a fantastic pie.

I think I died and went to pizza heaven. It's as good as they say. Go before it's too late and Mr. DeMarco doesn't make them any more.
  • Andy J K.
Rated Number 1 pizza in NYC and I concur.

When people talk about NY pizza, this is what talk about. Expensive but worth every penny, you can take your own wine.

The Pizza is good,BUT not worth all the hype!(zagat rated etc...)I would go elsewhere like BENNYS pizza a couple doors down...

Solid pizza, Brooklyn institution. Go early for shorter line. 🍕

Order a whole pie for two.... You'll finish it easy, down to the crumb. Pepperoni is off the hook!

Life-long New Yorker so I've had pizza pretty much everywhere. This is my favorite, hands down. Long wait on some days so don't come here for a slice! Get a whole (square) pie!

Whatever you do here, go for the Square and watch the cheese literally (and sensually) still bubbling at the surface. The wait may be long, for obvious reasons, but the long awaited bite is worth it!

The above average slice isn't worth the waiting time, but it's an institution that merits at least a visit.

This was bad... I wish it lived up to the hype. I'm actually shocked how bad this was. Too salty, ingredients are poor quality. It was maybe good long time ago

As silly as it sounds, by a square slice or three to share while you wait for your pizza. It will prime your appetite for a spectacular pie.

I stopped by on Sat around 7pm and got my square slice right away. I admire the man how he make them, but it definitely was not the best pizza I had. It was thin and crunchy but the rest was mediocre.

Pizza is good, but not worth the 40 minute train ride + 2 hour wait! Bring a lawn chair to chill on the street because it's definitely an all day event.

the di fara classic was olive oil drenched cheesy goodness but the square pizza's crunchy crust blew us away. worth the 1.5 hr wait and $33+ per pizza pie.

Order at Di Fara and walk around the corner to sibling Italian comfort food restaurant MD Kitchen. Because what makes a 2 hour wait for bread, sauce, and cheese better? Shrimp parmigiana heroes.
