People tend to check in during these times:
Nuʻuanu Pali Lookout
Nuuanu Pali Dr.
"Easily the spot with the best views. It's constantly evolving through each day. Ample parking and not crowded even when tour buses come. Don't miss a stop here! Say hi to the wild chickens and cats"
"Park. Hop over the guard rail and check out the view! Just be careful as the waves do come onto the rocks."
Diamond Head Crater
"Whether you are in shape or not, give this hike a try. The view is breathtaking. Also, towards the top, take the path to the left, rather than the steep staircase, if you are feeling fatigued."
Hanauma Bay Nature Preserve
100 Hanauma Bay Rd (off Kalanianaole Hwy)
"Spend the extra money to rent the snorkels. You won't regret it, we were able to see some cool fish and a sea turtle. The views here are just as beautiful outside the water."
Diamond Head State Monument
off Diamond Head Rd. (btwn Makapu'u & 18th Ave.)
"Fantastic views and fun hike. Recommend getting there early (opens at 6am) to get parking and avoid major crowds. Toward the end are some serious stairs and a 200+ foot tunnel to think about."
4211 Waialae Ave (btwn Hunakai St & Kilauea Ave)
"Great indoor mall. Parking can be an issue during sales and mall events. Good selection of woman's boutiques and food venues. Post office and gas station are nearby. Convenient!"
