Great ribs, amazing paella balls, octopus poke was surprisingly delicious. Beef tartare was a little underwhelming. But dessert was amazing -- the matcha sundae with homemade KitKat... Yum!!!

The only great thing was the clams and pork dish.. all else was pretty meh.

I was worried that without the chef duo this place would be terrible. The pivot from Italian to Japanese influenced has worked out fine tho. Standout dishes: samurai pie, tuna zuke

The beef tartar, the octopus, the cucumber salad and the green tea ice cream sundae. The people working here are genuinely friendly and outgoing. They love what they're doing!

This space is tiny but the food, service and atmosphere are amazing. Get a seat at the bar facing kitchen, order everything and let the chef tell you about the ingredients in every dish.

I'm obsessed with this restaurant for so many reasons...1. It's a hidden restaurant. 2. Delicious Japanese-Span fusion. 3. The head chef is so friendly; sit at the counter to watch him make the food.

Super duper cozy. As in, make a resy. Lucky to get in at 11p.

Great for a date night. Vibe is very chill, friendly, and unpretentious esp given the reverse speakeasy aspect. Every dish was delectable!

This is a good small family owned business. The food is cooked to order. I haven't had anything here that was bad. I love the chicken fried chicken & chicken fried steak.
