People tend to check in during these times:
Follow Walt Disney World Resort on Foursquare and be sure to check-in during your visit to unlock a little extra magic.
Easiest access to Magic Kingdom.
The first and best Disney World hotel
So convenient on the monorail line and walkable to Magic Kingdom!
Take a monorail hotel hopping tour from here to Polynesian & Grand Floridian! (Esp. fun during the holidays when decorations are up at all the resorts)
Best place to stay when you are visiting Disney world. Walking distance to Magic Kingdom, WiFi, swimming pool. Room service is pricey. Spent $100 on lunch for 2 adults and 2 kids with no liquor 😬😬😬
Contempo cafe is close to the monorail for a quick mug fill
Chef Mickey's is fabulous and the back beach area if excellent for relaxing and watching the fireworks!
Try the rooftop Resturant . Gastronomic pyrotechnic choreography at its best
Make a 7:45 pm reservation at the California Grill...Disney's Fire works show starts at 8p.m...Best dinner experience ever !!
The hotel has a strange coffee and milk scent. After 5 days you'll start feeling dizzy. The room wi-fi didn't work during all our staying. The elevator also didn't work. It's overrated.
Go to rooftop restaurant for great views of fireworks
If you stay here don't take the monorail to Magic Kingdom it travels away from the Magic Kingdom. Walking to the park is much quicker.
Enjoying a fabulous night with my new husband.
Head up to the California Grill for a great view of Cinderella's Castle and a much needed adult beverage before heading in to the booze free Magic Kingdom.
Chef Mickey breakfast was great. Hotel looks great. This will be my next resort stay for our next trip
Just an absolute beautiful hotel and resort to stay at. I've stayed here 3 times and they've all been amazing. Love the monorail traveling through the hotel.
I wish I could stay here!!
Pay more for Magic Kingdom view versus lake view...
Easy INDOOR access to the monorail and a character dinner are home to the Contemporary. You'll also want to take the bathroom home with you! Great for families :)
Nice hotel, but far too few elevators for a high-volume property of this size.
Hotel itself if just okay. Definitely not the most interesting or the best in Disney. Fireworks up in California Grill. Turkey BLT from the cafe is great. Definitely walking to Magic Kingdom tomorrow!
Check out the relaxing Bay Lake views. Great Disney shopping here too.
Love watching the fireworks from the California Grill Lounge, and we didn't even need a reservation!
Stay here for easy indoor access to the Monorail!
Great contempo cafe food and there's way less traffic eating here than the parks!
The best view for Wishes is at the California Grill Restaurant at the top of the hotel.
Don't stay here for luxury or fantastic service. This place is run by college interns who are very quick to answer, "I don't know." However, the 30 second monorail ride home from MK is priceless!
Stephen from Germantown, TN is the best! So knowledgeable and helpful! Will look for him for every question!
There is a pin board in the wave restaurant
There is a wall of smashed penny (and quarter!) machines just off elevators on main floor. Pack change accordingly.
Quick walk to the Magic Kingdom!
Planning a trip to the Himalyas? Use the stairs!
Tune the TV to channel 105 during the Magic Kingdom fireworks to hear the audio that goes along with the show.
Get FastPass+ and a MagicBand. It changes everything.
Check out the amazing Grand Canyon mosaic mural by Mary Blair. She also designed its a small world.
Love staying here! Always magical the first step all the way to the last! Get the cups with free refills! Also check out Chef Mickeys! Awesome for breakfast! :) Love it! S
Make sure you have reservations for dinner. All of the resort restaurants fill quickly and have little or no room for walk ins.
Just passing through
Reserve the character breakfast early before your trip because there was a wait list for it when I tried to make reservations last minute at check-in!
Highly recommend this resort!
Hotel is great...avoid the wave except for the bar. The food at the wave too small portions for waaaaaaay too much money
Sipping on a Sam Adams summer ale after a long day! Jason the bartender is doing a fine job pouring.
Rooms in the tower have been recently redone and look FABULOUS!
Talk to Karl, one of the bell hops. Great guy!
Use your room card for extra fast passes if you also use your Disney card or ticket.
Like I said the lobby smells fantastic. Food is great. The Wave & Chef Mickey's are both Table Service restaurants. Delicious. And the have a HOT TUB AT THE POOL!! Such a perk. Beautiful views too!
The pools are the best way to cool off here!
If you are a light sleeper chef mickeys can wake you up early with the music
