The best part about Walt Disney World is the bus system. You can get everywhere from Old Key West ... so why stay in a small villa close to the parks when Old Key West rooms are huge and there is free
Good place to run if you can find the Conch Flats Trail. Start at Villa 55. Follow the trail to Tee #1, then go left across the bridge. Run laps around the lake at Saratoga Springs.
Amazing Pina Coladas at The Gurgling Suitcase.
There is nothing like walking in and hearing the words "Welcome Home!"
Friendly bartenders at gurgling suitcase. 1 bedroom has Full kitchen and living room. Great place to spend dvc points as it's not very expensive to stay here in comparison to the other resorts
If taking a bus to the parks first thing in the morning, walk to the Peninsular Rd stop instead of the Hospitality House stop - you'll get on 1st and be able to sit. Buses are often full at last stop.
Big rooms/Villas. Spacious property. Hardly even feels like a hotel. Welcome Home!
There is now free WiFi
Ask for Arleen or Ken at the gurgeling suitcase! Fantastic bartenders!

Take the water taxi to DTD IT IS VERY RELAXING
Avoid the rooms in block 20, the busses all turn around outside your window and it's very noisy; also it's a long walk from the restaurant and there is very little parking if you drive.
Make sure to double check the list in the cupboard to ensure you have everything they provide.
Grab a chair by the pool or a beer at the Gurgling Suitcase.
No elevators so be ready.
OKW has remodeled most guest rooms. And wifi is now avail

Ask for building 62 if you want to be near Hospitaly House.
Love the WiFi ..free & stable !
All kitchen appliances work great, being able to make dinners saved a lot of $$. Ask, when booking, how to order &have groceries delivered the day you arrive! Very convenient. Nothing bad to say!
Premium annual pass holders get 20% off in the Conch Flats General Store :)
Really nice resort but for that kind of money the wifi should work way better than it does. Slow speeds and drops connection all over the resort.
Villas now have WiFi! Finally free of the Ethernet cord!
If stairs are a problem for you, be sure to ask for a ground-floor unit -- there are no elevators in the 3-story buildings.

The balcony is good to have drinks on
Disney's first Vacation Club Resort, and still a great place to stay on property. Good location and Olivia's food is yummy casual eating.
Olivia's cafe is delightful, the food unique and high quality. Sea scallops over creamy polenta was a dish to repeat! Definite new favorite...
My favorite hotel of all the Disney resorts. My family has been members for 20 years and we visit several times a year. It's very homey and super friendly
