This is a good resort, the rooms are nice and the store has everything you need.. The main pool is a tad small for how big the resort is but it's still nice and the senses spa is really convenient.
Beautiful resort, just a short boat ride or walk from Downtown Disney! The pool is fun for the whole family! Love the resort! Both thumbs up!
The south end is across the water from Disney Springs. It's an easy walk to shops and restaurants, and can get loud in the evenings. The rooms are big and the main pool has a lot going on!
Our DVC Home; Try the Veggie flatbread sandwich and enjoy the open spaces. Love it here!
We have stayed at a few of the resorts. This one is our favorite. 4 pools to choose from, beautiful property to walk around, fairly quiet even when crowded and staff is always wonderful.
The refurbished walkway to Downtown Disney is very convenient, as are the boats from the Treehouse Villas.
Wonderful rooms, great service and fun activities
If you want to be close to Disney Springs, ask for a room in Congress Park. If you're lake front you get beautiful sunset views.
Golf course and spa make this a great resort for adults. Definitely less children here too. Only issue: it's very sprawled out, so get ready to walk. Easy walking access to Downtown Disney.
Hotel is centrally located. I found the rooms to be nice but smaller than some of the other resorts. Harder to fit larger groups.
Great horse racing themed resort. Too bad there aren't real horses there
If your staying at a building far from the Carriage House stock up your snacks so you don't have to make multiple trips. The store and restaurant are together at the Artist's Palette
The rooms are great, the pool or should I pools are awesome. Good food selection
Fun themed resort with cool gift shop
Watch a beautiful sunset across the lake near the Paddock to end the evening in a magical way.
I'm reading the comment from 2010/2011 and it seems not much has changed. The buses are horrible and take forever to show up no matter where you are going. Other than that no complaints.
Don't get the Meatloaf! Terrible!
Like home only neater.
Favorite Disney resort by far! Convenient to everything, spacious villas, comfortable amenities.
Beautiful villas, but the pools are freezing and the mugs are now a ripoff. There's a chip in them that limits your ability to get drinks as you please, and you pay by the day as well as for the cup.
Love being able to walk around and hit the pools. Bus stops are close, catching the ferry to Downtown Disney. Best perk is having the golf course so close
Call ahead for the Mickey express. They start at 430am...
Love the vibe by the pool
If you stay three nights, try to stretch out your in room coffee use. Costs an extra $3 for another packet to brew in the room. Guess the thousands we invested into DVC don't cover that.
SSR is quiet. Love the 1bedrooms comes with a full kitchen (flatware, plates...etc) and a washer and dryer...very convenient.
Beautiful, quiet, spacious resort. Great for couples or adults with no kids. Super close to Downtown Disney. Never waited more than 30 minutes for a bus!
Excellent bell service staff. My wife had to go the hospital and they were terrific helping us out.
Worst for bus service
Set thermostat 2 degrees below where you want it or your room will be hawt!
Laundry basket is hidden under the bathroom sink...really
Gratis that family of love
Ideal para alojar familia enteras. Las villas esta equipadas con cocina, sala, tv, jacuzzi, lavadora y todo lo q necesites.
Bus service is second rate. Took over an hour to get back one night. Stay at hotel with Monorail service if possible.
Great for taking a walk!
Try to stay in "The Springs" section as the bus stop is the last one that gets picked up before going to the parks.
Nice beds n great for taking a walk
The backstretch pool is great for little ones and hidden well ;-)
Ahmed is the best. He was great to my family and me on a couple occasions.
Really great place to stay on property. 1 bedroom villa is great! Next to downtown, and EASY access to MK and Epcot. Our villa was just refurbished - absolutely great!
This Walt Disney World Resort is by far my favorite resort. Stayed back there in 09 and staying there again Christmas. I am going to miss staying at Bay Lake Tower. I love the 2 bedroom here at DSSRAS
Buy the refillable mug, pays for itself in 5 refills do you save a lot of money.
Look for the turtles
Watch out for the lizards when you're walking. They are everywhere
This place is pretty magical. Try the green tea, I have been downing that stuff like there is no tomorrow.
My home resort, love it. Its proximity to DTD is a huge plus. I've stayed at or visited many of the resorts--all have issues at times with the buses. Even the deluxe resorts. Still an amazing system.
Nice place for a couples getaway.
Skip the studio and go for the one bedroom. It's like having your own apartment.
Bring lots of money... Arcades can be expensive
By far the best for adults with no kids. Very quiet.
Do not order Gio's pizza terrible and over priced. This costed me $12.00
