This is a great DVC member resort. Everything is convenient and you can even take a ferry boat or walk to Downtown Disney. How cool is that?

    Matthew D · January 25, 2010
  • Orlando Informer

Following the loop around Downtown Disney and Saratoga Springs Resort makes for a lovely walk. Takes about an hour or so.

    Orlando Informer · January 24, 2010
  • Chris B.

Others complain about the quiet location but I think it's SSR biggest selling point. Tranquil, relaxing and great for walks into Downtown Disney. Don't let the haters put you off!

    Chris Brown · May 10, 2011
  • Mike W.

Make sure you get the cheeseburg flatbread at Artist Pallette!!! Very tasty!

    Mike Wilk · June 1, 2010

Skip the studio and go for the one bedroom. It's like having your own apartment.

    Bernardo Torres · April 1, 2012

A: Our grand Villa was a mess.. Air was working on and off, door handles and fixtures were falling off, dryer didn't work.. B: Its quite a pain to get anywhere honestly, we've bussed to the lodge..

    Amber Parchym · September 25, 2010
  • Alicia G.

Watch out for the lizards when you're walking. They are everywhere

    Alicia Glasser · June 30, 2012
  • Dean L.

This is one of the best rooms on property. You get a great sunset, music from Downtown and walking distance to adult beverages. It cuts down on using the buses.

    Dean L · January 4, 2012
  • Lisa O.

    Wonderful place

    Lisa O'Steen · December 20, 2011
  • Philip W.

Like the resort. It is a great place if you can't get in anywhere else. Don't buy the refillable mug. But this is a property wide issue that Disney needs to address.

    Philip Weakly · October 28, 2011
  • Vickie A.

Quiet resort, rooms are typical size DVC studios. Community hall has games and movies you can borrow for rainy days. The grandstand pool is nice and not as crowded. And it's a short walk to main lobby

    Vickie Ahrens · September 25, 2011
  • Don W.

Really great place to stay on property. 1 bedroom villa is great! Next to downtown, and EASY access to MK and Epcot. Our villa was just refurbished - absolutely great!

    Don Warga · November 15, 2012
  • Melody D.

My home resort, love it. Its proximity to DTD is a huge plus. I've stayed at or visited many of the resorts--all have issues at times with the buses. Even the deluxe resorts. Still an amazing system.

    Melody D. · June 21, 2012

    The water slides are amazing.

If using Disney Transportation, plan on 90 minutes to from any destination, 45-60 minutes for the direct buses to the parks. We'll always rent a car on future trips b/c we wasted time on the buses.

    Evan Fusco · October 10, 2011

If your looking for convenience, unfortunately this isnt the best choice.

    Chris Canestro · October 3, 2011

Mint julep, saratoga lager, crab cakes and the lamb chops are worth it. Beware of the screamin kids though!

    Keith Strickland · October 29, 2010

Excellent bell service staff. My wife had to go the hospital and they were terrific helping us out.

    Peter Elliott · August 5, 2013

Bus service is second rate. Took over an hour to get back one night. Stay at hotel with Monorail service if possible.

This Walt Disney World Resort is by far my favorite resort. Stayed back there in 09 and staying there again Christmas. I am going to miss staying at Bay Lake Tower. I love the 2 bedroom here at DSSRAS

By far the best for adults with no kids. Very quiet.

    Jessie Beck · January 7, 2012

Fast access to Downtown Disney, a bit of a drive everywhere else. On site restaurants are definitely worth a try, especially the flatbread sandwiches!

    Justin Stymacks · November 9, 2011

It's a bit out of the way, but the pools are nice. Definitely a good place if you like strolling to Downtown Disney.

    Chris · August 27, 2011

This place sucks. Far from everything. Room is tiny and expensive.

    Evan 💸💸 · March 21, 2011

Come early....the buses come and go all day long, but the best buses come early in the day! Oh and leave the kids at home!

    Kirk Gray · October 28, 2010
  • Gina G.

Great main pool! Activities for kids in the afternoon and nice chairs for adults. Plus a bar!

    Gina Geppi · October 21, 2010

A bit too quiet for my taste. Not a good choice if you are used to staying at a centrally located resort.

    Stacy Krugman · May 29, 2010

    Love the new treehouse!

    Jim Forde · April 15, 2010

Watch a beautiful sunset across the lake near the Paddock to end the evening in a magical way.

  • Amanda L.

I'm reading the comment from 2010/2011 and it seems not much has changed. The buses are horrible and take forever to show up no matter where you are going. Other than that no complaints.

    Amanda Lussier · May 14

    Don't get the Meatloaf! Terrible!

    Dennis · April 14
  • Suzanne D.

    Like home only neater.

  • Leigh Ann J.

Favorite Disney resort by far! Convenient to everything, spacious villas, comfortable amenities.

  • Kristin

Beautiful villas, but the pools are freezing and the mugs are now a ripoff. There's a chip in them that limits your ability to get drinks as you please, and you pay by the day as well as for the cup.

    Kristin · March 26
  • Noel R.

Love being able to walk around and hit the pools. Bus stops are close, catching the ferry to Downtown Disney. Best perk is having the golf course so close

    Noel Rossano · March 20
  • Tom B.

Call ahead for the Mickey express. They start at 430am...

    Tom Boyle · March 18
  • Daisy V.

Love the vibe by the pool

    Daisy Varnell · March 16
  • Missy K.

If you stay three nights, try to stretch out your in room coffee use. Costs an extra $3 for another packet to brew in the room. Guess the thousands we invested into DVC don't cover that.

    Missy Kaszuba · February 23
