Slides for the big 'kids' are kind of hidden with a path starting around the right of Shark Reef toilets. Would have to come back next time cos we found it when it was about to close.

  • Nick S.
This place is amazing. Best water park you can go to. The attention to detail is exactly what you'd expect from Disney. You really feel like you have escaped to a paradise. Best wave pool there is.
    Nick Sowers · May 3, 2014
  • MJ I.
$8 for small locker that will hold all your $$, keys, electronics is well worth it. So is the $10 refillable mug. Only property at WDW that allows you to buy barcode sticker on future visits for less
    MJ InFlorida · March 9, 2011

A decent enough water park, but so crowded you can't float down the lazy river, you just bump along jammed up with a river full of tubes. Wave pool is great when they're doing the big waves though.
    L Butlr · August 12, 2014
  • The Transit Navigator
Centered around the Typhoon Surf Pool, this park provides an oceanic lagoon flavor to the standard water park. Check out all of the amazing pools, or ride on the speed slides (if you dare).
    The Transit Navigator · January 1, 2012
  • Lexi M.
Crush and Gush is the sweet water roller coaster toward the left when you enter the park. Don't forget to check out the shark reef and snorkel!
    Lexi Maples · August 7, 2014
  • Quaggy
When you get in, pick a spot to sit near the Shark Reef - it's always much less crowded, has more shade than any other area, and you're right in the middle of all the best attractions.
    Quaggy · August 22, 2012
  • Sean L.
A tropical paradise tucked away and out of sight. This small park has many quiet, sand-covered corners. A moderate amount of attractions, this park is strong on relaxing and atmosphere.
    Sean Leb · August 6, 2014
  • Eric S.
A must visit water park when you go to Disney World. Great slides, shark reef and an intense wave pool are just some of the great things to do.
    Eric Stankovitz · August 24, 2014
  • Jane
Small lockers are $13 and larger lockers are $15. When turning in your key, you can get $5 back or any bag they offer for an additional 5. Larger lockers are able to hold 2 bags
    Jane · July 22, 2014
  • Leanne W.
This place is SWARMING with bees. In the queue lines, all over the soda fountains, in the bushes and by the lockers. One restaurant closed early because of the wasps swarming their soda machine. Yikes
    Leanne W · August 10, 2013

If you have little ones, find chairs in the kiddie splash area or directly across in the surf pool area. Best place to access all the kid appropriate slides & water areas & the bathroom is close by.
  • Raffaele N.
If you get caught by a thunderstorm and park attractions are being closed just ask for a free coupon at guest service to come back anytime you want. Nice of you, Disney!
    Raffaele Nappi · August 13, 2012
  • David S.
After you get off of the Crushn Gusher a Disney photographer will take your photo and give you a Photopass tag with instructions on how to view your photo online.
    David Sutton · August 30, 2012

Welcome to Typhoon Lagoon! Ketchakiddee Creek is great Eli & Gracy while the whole Jackson family will enjoy relaxing in Castaway Creek. Also, stay cool w/a sand bucket of ice cream! Have fun.
    Wesley Davenport · May 5, 2012

Great park to visit during Mardi Gras. There was no wait for any slide. The Shark Reef is so awesome!
    Dustin Branton · March 4, 2014

As of 6/10/14: Bus service to and from the water park after 2pm will only be available at Epcot.Guests going to Typhoon Lagoon after 2pm will need to get to Epcot, then get on the Typhoon Lagoon bus.

This place rocks... The beach is awesome... Kids place is great... The only point it could be better is the food court, only wraps, burgers or sandwiches...
    Fabio Has · June 26, 2012
  • Derek S.
During closing time, no swimmers are allowed in the big wave pool as they let surfers ride the wave in pairs.
    Derek Santa Ana · August 9, 2013
  • Laura V.
Don't wait 'till park closes when you leave. it's madness in changingroom/shower, as there are only few of those and hundreds of kids and parents blocking it.
    Laura Vallo · October 26, 2013
  • Elizabeth K.
Head to the right when you come in. You can get a locker and chairs over by the Sharks Reef. Much less crowded on a busy day!
    Elizabeth Kozup · November 28, 2011
  • Ursula P.
Best waterparks in Orlando. The wave pool is actually surfable for private parties. Best Staycation place for locals.
    Ursula Palladino · July 14, 2015
  • Micaela
It's perfect for little ones! Think it's the most complete of all. Don't ride storm slides, although it's allowed it's dangerous
    Micaela · November 3, 2014
  • Sara H.
They're serious when they say NO METAL on your swim suit. Even a zipper on a wet suit has metal and will limit the attractions you can do. Really, make sure you don't have any metal on your suit.
    Sara H · November 18, 2011
  • Suzanne L.
Crush in' gusher was our favorite. I like the fact that there were plenty of bathrooms and eateries to choose from.
    Suzanne Lea F. · June 2, 2015
  • Jaymie D.
If you can not do stairs don't pick this park. Cause you can only do the one new slide and and like 3 other things. All other slides and ride are all stairs and in no way of being able to be Ada.
    Jaymie Davis · October 15, 2012
  • Christie C.
Not a full day kind of park. Just get the water park add on ticket and go daily when its too hot at the regular parks.
    Christie Cripe-Cocuzzi · August 13, 2011
  • Sammie S.
Get a $10 re-fillable mug... well worth it and you can buy barcode stickers for other days if you bring back the mug at either Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach! =D
    Sammie Spad · May 8, 2011
  • Michelle C.
Come early to get an umbrella. You can pack a cooler, otherwise plan to pay an arm and a leg for food.
    Michelle Claudio · August 11, 2013
  • Mike W.
Barely any lines! If the line is longer than 10 min then the ride probably isn't worth it. Try the shark reef. Seriously cool!
    Mike Warman · August 9, 2014
  • Bad W.
Surf pool and shark reef alone make this water park worth going to! Looking for a small snack? Try the mini donuts!
    Bad Wolf · September 6, 2013
  • Steven 🐠🐟 S.
I like Typhoon over Blizzard because the wave pool is great exercise! Get here early enough to get a chair and go on slides before the lines grow.

If you can get some sort if dry bag for your electronics small lockers end up costing $7 for the day.

Wave pool is cool but no real signage around park and blizzard beach was better - not as much sand as here

Amazing! Rent a locker in the beginning to avoid carrying your things around the whole time.
    Monica Maiman · March 29, 2013
  • Janet R.
The bottom of the wave pool has a really rough texture, so kids might want water shoes.
    Janet R. · April 28, 2013
Easy to spent all your day in! But if the thunder is coming, everything will be closed in no time! Lol. Pray for a sunny day!!
    CLVTCH · August 23, 2013

If you are trying to decide from riding Pineapple, Coconut, or banana pick Banana! It's the fastest out of the 3. But all 3 are equally as fun :)
