Follow Walt Disney World Resort on Foursquare and be sure to check-in during your visit to unlock a little extra magic.
Rooms are a little small. Can no refill your mug after midnight.
Great place to stay
If you want interaction then you have chosen the best place to eat while at Disney. We loved the waiter, the atmosphere, and the food. We got the speciality.. ALL YOU CARE TO EAT plate. It was great!!
So much fun. Kids movies playing in the far right when you come in.
Great for kids. Room 1151 is very close to the pool and has a nice view.
You'd never guess it from the marketing materials but the bar snacks at The Territory Lounge are fantastic. Go for the wings or flatbread.
The boat ride to the Magic Kingdom is tempting (and something you should do at least once) but the bus service is definitely faster!
This place is amazing!! Huge trees used to create the main lobby and hotel are incredible. Just go here and walk around. You will be impressed.
Rustic and immersive. A fun loving family resort the doesn't overlook the deluxe comforts.
Beautiful hotel! Even if you aren't staying here, stop by to relax for a bit in their grand lobby.
Awesome place! The lobby smells like Cedar.
This place looked really cool with its Christmas decorations.
Its it the most convenient, but it's very comforting
Woodsy and quaint! Love the water shuttle to Magic Kingdom.
Great resort, excellent customer service and beautiful. Pool is currently being rehabed (9/2014).
Very well themed hotel! Feels like you are in a national park. The pool is super fun with a great view! Cast Members are very friendly! Love this place!
This is my family's favorite resort. Northwest theme, awesome pool, decent cafeteria, and of course awesome Disney customer service.
Take some times to wander around the grounds. Lots of interesting things to see.
Get some drinks at the terriTONY lounge
Room type is a "request" not a reservation. "magical express" = didn't get luggage for 9 hours. Hotel just blamed Delta. Ruined first day but hotel offered nothing, as much as u pay that's ridiculous.
I agree the boat is much quicker to Magic Kingdom....until 4 scooters get on -:) LOL
The holiday season is here. The tree has been decorated and the resort is decked out in lights.
A great way to unwind after a day at the parks -- rock for a bit in front of the big fire. So peaceful!
A most beautiful resort
Stay club level.....:-)
Don't book a "Standard View" room unless you don't intend to look out the window.
The 7th floor is Club Level and its amazing. Food and beverage from 7am-10pm. Great staff and amazing atmosphere. Well worth the extra money :)
Take the walk between the lodge and Fort . But remember if you come back late it's a very dark trail.
Bring your ponchos in the summer time
Make sure you ask for ketchup! :-) And, the All-you-can-eat platter is awesome! Ribs are the best!
Skip the bus. Go with the ferry to the magic kingdom. Much easier and no random stops on the way!
Make sure to ask for extra ice in your drink at the cafe
Have to agree everything about this hotel is great!
Don't miss old faithful. Every hour from 7am - 10pm and the running trails are fantastic!
Worth the price. Get a villa and cook breakfast in your room. Hang out at the pool for a mid-day break from the parks. Roast some marshmallows before hearing out.
The fitness room is top notch and even has free weights and a smith machine. Key card access is in the front only.
Be sure you ask what time the water parade will go by the Lodge's beach. It's the perfect viewing spot.
Don't ask for ketchup at the restaurant
When celebrating, the cast members do a great job of adding to your celebration. We had a bday phone call & special complimentary snacks! Mickey also gave us a signed photo.
No room key needed to access the higher floors.
To get away... Go up to the seventh floor. There's even a tv, a couch, and free wifi.
The staff here are all extremely nice, this was a wonderful place to stay for our honeymoon :)
Room 5084 had a decwnt view of the MK fireworks.
Concierge level is the best
Great common areas, but the rooms are sub-par...so small compared to Poly. The bathroom setup is ridiculous.
Ask the front desk about the find the hidden mickey game, it's a great game for all ages
Head down to the boat dock around 9 p.m. for Disney’s Electrical Water Pageant. Don’t forget to wear bug spray!
