People tend to check in during these times:
Dollywood is a 150 acre family adventure park in the Great Smoky Mountains of East Tennessee. It's mountain themed attractions, world class rides and award winning festivals and shows make Dollywood one of the top themed entertainment destinations in the US.
Great as always. Rainy days are the best time to go. If it is not lightning, everything is open. No waiting for any of the rides! We got front seat in everything we went on including Wild Eagle!
Considered by many as the most family-friendly amusement park outside of Walt Disney World. This world-class theme park has a little bit of everything for everybody! Great service and great times!
Dollywood is amazing. It is one of the nicest, if not the nicest amusement park that I've ever been too. The lines weren't too bad compared to grander amusement parks such as DisneyWorld & Cedar Point
Q2Q allows you to move ahead in line, costs $15 for first party member, $5 for each additional party member, worth it If you ask me! Waiting in hot lines equals drinks=anger=hate=leads to the darkside
Save $7.50 on parking by riding the trolley to Dollywood. Great way to save money and time. You won't have to pay to park and you will not have to wait in line to exit the park at the end of your vi
Find the Woodwork and Gifts. I wish I could describe where it is at...but look and ask. I bought my Mom the coolest family plaque. It has little "people" for each family member. Love it.
When buying season passes, have at least one person in your family or group get a Gold Pass. Yes its a little more but you will SAVE more than the pass cost just on food, drink and parking alone!!!!!!
Great ride. Don't miss the hidden gem of the park, Blazing Fury. Combination dark ride and indoor coaster, its old but it's awesome. Currently running a Christmas theme overlay.
If you live close by, visit late in the day during the week. There will typically be less crowds and most rides and shows you can walk right on or have a very short wait.
Park your car at Patriot Park in Pigeon Forge and take the Fun Time Trolley to Dollywood. It's 50¢ per person each way. Easier and cheaper than parking at Dollywood. Have the correct change though.
Wear super comfy shoes!!! The park is built on a mountain, a lot of ups & downs & the ground changes constantly!!! Save your feet!!! Choose comfort over fashion when coming here!!
A very family friendly place to visit. There are many new rides with more coming. Get the Gold Pass. It will pay for itself if you attend twice each year.
Unique and exciting rides... Really great for even our young kids with things sitters can ride alone. Parent swap is a FANTASTIC idea!
Wild Eagle ride was great as well as Tennessee Tornado but did not enjoy Woden coaster ride as much but still fast ride. Safety first on ALL rides. Zip line was fun but only 4 zips & took time.
there isn't enough dolly themed stuff at the gift shops, but there is plenty of neon. other than that it's a great place! definitely worth it!
if your coming back more than 2 times get the season pass, if you upgrade to gold pass after you park 4 times it covers the cost of the gold pass
Better than average theme park. A kiddie heaven. Rides are fun. Food is not good and overpriced (theme park standard) train is great fun
Great Place to spend an entire day! Rides, shows, decently priced food, a staple of my summer since 1993 (the first time I remember going)
Great place, family friendly, lots of rides for little kids. Love that they have nursing rooms for moms. The food is really lacking though.
Stop by the Q2Q by the fountain and get the kids measured. They get a colored band that corresponds with the rides, so you can plan your day and fit more in!
I ♥ Dollywood!! It Has Definitely Expanded It's Attractions!! I Won't Ever Forget Our Vacations Here!! The Water Rides Were My Favorite!!
all you can eat buffet has good fried chicken. Most roller coasters can't handle big or tall folks. Glassblowers are great to watch.
Miss Lillian's Chicken buffet is the best deal and IMO the best food in the park, particularly with a 20% gold pass discount
Don't try to be a hero on hot days - take care of yourself. All food service locations offer free cups of water so stay hydrated! It'll make a difference!
Dollywood is great for roller coasters and all.... But I must, this is the LEAST vegan friendly place I have ever been to.
The rides close if weather gets cold. Seems it's around 32 degrees so plan to ride early in the day if weather is cold.
Wild Eagle is awesome, but occasionally has a wasp problem. Middle of the week visits are best due to smaller crowds.
Everything is awesome here! Loved the shows as well! Kids had a blast. Def a must go if your in TN! 👍
Don't wear white on the train!! You'll get soot everywhere!! When you do, blow it off gently, don't try to brush it off, it'll streak!!
Really fun & family oriented! The shows are always super fun and amazing & the rides are thrilling and fun!
Coming from Florida, Disney is way overpriced compared to this place! Food, admission and merchandise are all reasonable
Be sure to stop by Miss Lillians Chicken House and say Hello she is one of the sweetest Ladies you will ever meet there.
Had an awesome time with my family at Dollywood. Nice staff, great food, awesome rides and attractions. Totally worth it!
Love Aunt Granny's restaurant! The sugar cake at the mill is to die for! Do not miss seeing The Kingdom Heirs gospel group!
This is an artificial cave connecting two parts of the park. A great place to hide from the sun, or in this case, rain.
Too many shows to see in one day. They are all good, but you have to skip a few if you want to get in any rides.
Get there about 35 minutes early for every show. It's a long wait inside, but getting in on time is worth it.
Stop & look around!!! There's so many tiny amazing details in every little thing!!! Beautiful beautiful park!!!
Beautiful park, beautiful people, great service and being from FL, very economical.
A Season Pass is less than the price of 2 one day tickets, and a Gold Season Pass saves you 20% on food, merchandise and free parking!
Ride the Wild Eagle! Totally worth a wait, no matter how long. (Front seat is the best!)
Keep your sunglasses on, the soot goes everywhere. Wipe off your seat before you sit down if have light colored pants on too.
I challenge you to walk into the grist mill, and not come out with cinnamon bread in hand. To die for.
The friendliest staff of any park. Also, be sure not to miss going the Chasing Rainbows.
go during the week when school is in session to beat the lines and avoid children.
If you have kids, start the morning at the country fair area. No lines and pint size rides.
Something about the great smelling foods, laughs, screams and smiles are what makes Dollywood special...
Very friendly at the ticket booth. They printed the PDF file with tickets I purchased online...
Come after 3, next day is free. No lines if you stay late!
