It is now under renovation, so a bit inconvenient, car park all occupied, and needs more light bulbs. Donmuang is quited crowed these days. Overall is good, airport condition is still okay.

Don't forget to bring your pen with you, it's a nice country, easily get your On Arrival Visa and have fun. They have a long queue of taxi passengers but it doesn't take your time so much #Thailand

You can easily get the train to and from here and the city. The changeover from the underground to the railway is very close but may need a local to point. The railway can get delayed so go earlier.

If you're looking for good food without the airport prices. On floor 2 near front middle of the airport follow signs to arimi hotel. In the concourse here's a lunch buffet for 120 baht - delicious.

For cheap Thai food, follow the advice and go to Magic food court before immigration. Go down the long corridor of airline offices until you hit a big space and take the elevator in the right corner

This place can be an absolute zoo with activity (even at odd hours of the day/night), but even for our international flight, we were through security, customs and at our gate in less than 25 minutes.

One of the best reasons to fly LCCs in SEA. Land in DMIA, where's it's less busy than Suvarnabhumi (on a good day). Older, compact layout also means less walking from aerobridge to exit.

At the exit lounge, connect to CAT Wifi for free 20 minutes internet surfing. You need to register with them to get access. The internet speed is pretty good! Select EN to register using English lang.

Classic airport, but more modern in Departures Terminal. If you wanna buy simcard after you arrive, go in front of escalator to Departures in 1st Floor. They sell tourist package simcard for 290B

Some advised if you are first time in Bangkok. Buy the unlimited data simcard. Never take tuk-tuk, take meter taxi instead. It's even cheaper than bts if you are in a group of 4.

Acutally no need to wait for the long taxi queue in the airport and pay more arrangement fee ... just hop on the flyover (same way to the Amari hotel) to call the taxi on Vibhavadi-Rangsit road ^^"

It's disappointing when the Tourist Info Counter after the arrival hall acted like a bunch of scammers by giving wrong info just to get you to take their offerings e.g. Taxi service, tour package etc

Self-checkin kiosks extremely useful especially if you have no checkin luggage. Airasia flights can get crowded early morning and so try to come 3 hours earlier if possible.

Leave early from the city at least 3 hours before your departure time as the traffic to the airport could be bad or worst. At the airport allow 2 hours for baggage drop and immigration check.

No free wifi in airport. Starbucks charges 150 Baht for 1 hour wifi card. Best bet is to ask someone to share their hotspot! Thank you to the nice girl from Singapore for doing this for me :))

Chaotic at the check-in and holding area before the gates. The F&B outlets have very few seats. Probably want to arrive earlier before boarding to avoid the rush.

For taxi don't wait in the queue just go at the departure level. If there's no taxi there walk out of the airport to the nearby road. No point in waiting two hours in line just for a taxi.
