DT brings the SF taqueria experience to NYC! We use the finest ingredients, have a terrific team, and deliver uncompromising excellence, one burrito at a time.
THE BEST (available on the east coast)
Big, hearty burritos with satisfying meat fillings and fresh toppings. The tortillas are cooked with corn oil for a more authentic taste. Dos Toros is the indie Chipotle; definitely worth a visit!
Don't put too much of the spiciest sauce.
Go to burrito chain. This is the original NYC outpost apparently
It's like Chipotle but more...no it's basically Chipotle
Make sure to let them know you don't want guacamole before they put it on since it costs extra and they don't tell you it costs extra
Similar style to chipotle, but much better quality
This place sucks. Staff is rude. Cost me $5.75 for one taco. They added gauc without asking an then it ended up being extra.
legitimately spicy hot sauce.
The new chipotle. Tasted more homemade and healthy.
Try the carne asada burrito
The quesadillas at Dorado Tacos on 12th @ University are better.
Chipotle has nothing on the dos toros burrito. The recommendation is simple. You feel like a fantastic burrito? Come here
The trick is to ask what's best (or, what staff is having) that day. Every burrito is fantastic-but the gems are what new innovation hit today. All salsas/sauces made in house daily.
Craving one all day, went to get a burrito and they were out of tortillas!? How do you run out of tortillas after being open years?! Carne Asada was really tough today too...
Pretend you're at a much fancier, tastier Chipotle
Really tasty and good value
Amazing burritos. I think better than anything in the east village. Only way to be sure is to eat more burritos...
Carnitas quesadilla with guac is where it's at. Skip the rice& beans in the burrito, they're just filler anyway.
Carnitas burrito. Spicy salsa is actually spicy. Better value than chipotle, slight edge in flavor department too, especially the hot sauce.
~10$ lunch. Dine in hard. Worth it.
If you like Gordos in San Francisco, you'll want to eat here.
Better than Chipotle. Great carne asada burrito.
Carnitas Taco: $4.13
Sf style burritos. Unf.
Burrito was so so...meat was cold and difficult to chew. Service was mediocre. If you want to try a really good burrito and are close to Lincoln center, drop by Burrito box - much better.
Amazing falafels, delicious burritos. 100% sure will visit this again next time!
Omg spare yourself and do NOT go for that hot sauce. I cried eating through my burrito and my mouth is still on fire 30 mins later.
Carne Asada Burrito. Guac is extra.
2.75 Mexican beer! Fiesta gets you a mix of beans. One taco not enough - get two!
Chicken burrito was brilliant.
Their basic quesadilla with guac! So good!!! It was love at first bite :p
Carnitas! That pork... And grab the smokey salsa for the full bbq flavor.
One thing that's often overlooked but crucial is the way a burrito is constructed. The ratio of its ingredients, how they're laid out, and how the burrito is rolled. This place gets it right.
One of my favorite Mexican places in NYC. The owners are from the West Coast. Try the basic burrito. Thank me later.
Habanero salsa is SPICY 😋
Super small and super yummy. Love a quick stop on the way home.
Long lines but they move quick. The lines are worth the wait as the food is delicious! Carne asada or carnitas all the way
Get the real Bay Area burrito experience and ask for it on the grill. Maybe one day they'll have jalapeños.
Afraid you'll have to undo your belt when you're done here? Grab a quesadilla instead of a burrito. All the same tasty fillings yet less filling!
Similar to Chipotle, but has its own twist on the theme. Overall, good burrito and cheap Mexican beer options.
Very similar to Chipotle, burritos are good, but not great.
Carne asada burritos! With a side of chips and guac
Music playlist was amazing. Steak plate
