DT brings the SF taqueria experience to NYC! We use the finest ingredients, have a terrific team, and deliver uncompromising excellence, one burrito at a time.
Good and tasty. Worth a drop by if in the area and craving for Mexican but it's not a destination if one is on the other side of town.
This isn't Chipotle, it's a much better version. Burritos are better made with better ingredients
For beer, go with the Pacifico
A better version of Chipotle.
This place is not what it used to be... Sad
The burritos are good but Chipotle they are not... Sadly this is a time the big corporation wins.
Steak burrito with guac all day. The habanero sauce is great but will burn the shit out of your mouth.
Carne asada quesadilla 😍
Carnitas Taco: $4.13
"Gimme all your sauces", she said. Almost a PTFO midday from my plato situation. Please, arrive humble in regards to your heat tolerance or you will suffer the habanero wrath.
As close as you can get to true San Francisco burritos. Looks a lot like Gordos. Carne Asada burrito is solid. Delivers ok, usually need to warm it up
Dece burritos but mostly just a nice quick option in a neighborhood severely lacking in street food that isn't pizza
The salsas are where Dos Toros really wins against their mainstream competitors. Solid burrito, and comparable to Chipotle in price.
Gotta have the carnitas. Watch out for the habanero salsa! It's delicious but intense.
It's like Chipotle, but better ... Much better.
Get there close to closing time and you can probably score a free bag of chips 👍
Carnitas burrito was not so good would try chicken next time
Burritos and tacos are legit and the hot sauce will completely rock you.
tacos. all the salsas. but, hot is hot.
Grab your meal to go and enjoy your burrito goodness in the park across the street
Burritos! Move over Chipotle.
If you're lucky you may spot Louis ck here, I've seen him twice
Better than Chipotle. Better rice, better hot sauce, and bigger meat portions. Bowl is slightly worse because the paper bottom starts to become moist quickly.
The carnitas burrito is the correct choice. Top it off with a Negra Modelo or a Dr. Pepper. A side of chips & salsa helps if you're extra hungry.
Tacos of course.
Best SF style burritos in NYC. Skip chipotle and go here.
This place is a solid alternative to chipotle. Same structure with a different flavor. The hot sauce is very hot.
Better than Chipotle, in every way.
Probably the worst Mexican place in NYC. Food is decent but not worth dealing with the unaccommodating, rude and slow service. Go elsewhere.
Make sure to get extra guac and the spiciest sauce they have! Best tacos and burritos in the west village!
Go for a quesadilla! The guac and the chipotle are very true to mexican flavors. Grab a beer. Feel the joy.
Try the new smoke sauce. It's Dos Toros' answer to Chipotle's chipotle Tabasco sauce.
Because its better than Chipotle
Try the Quesadilla. It's not your normal greasy cheesy quesadilla, it's more meaty and with a deliciously toasted tortilla.
Heard their pork buritos are amazing!
They really are not joking about the spiciness of the hottest hot sauce. Medium one would be a good choice and maybe a dash of spicer sauce.
Try the Cup n Compass drinks. The Rosemary Limeade is great
Grilled chicken burrito
The red hot sauce is pretty spicy. Ask for a mix of the milder and the hotter for max flavor.
This is the best burrito place in New York. All of the locations are stellar.
A good alternative to the over-visited Chipotle
Really really good tastes genuine. Wassss better than Chipotle... WAYYYYY BETTER
The burrito is a much better deal than getting 2 tacos. Same price and you get rice and beans to boot.
The food is ok, but I prefer Chipotle. A pretty nice spot and would do in a pinch if you were craving tex mex. Not the cheapest either. About $4 for a basic taco and $6 for a basic quesadilla.
Super flavorful, inexpensive, and yes the hot sauce is hot... And delish!
A tasty option when you want to deviate from the Chipotle norm
