These tacos made from slow-roasted Berkshire pork butt, pickled red onions, and roasted chile de árbol are about as good as you’ll find this side of Mexico City. Read more

Go for the double half-and-half burrito bowl. Half pinto, half black beans. Half chicken, half steak. You'll be approximately 4x happier.

The carnitas (pork) are seared and slow cooked, leaving them juicy and flavorful, with the right amount of salty kick before being wrapped in corn tortilla along with toppings of your choice. Read more

Once you get halfway down the line, you'll see a container that has the lid on it (just south of the salsa), it's got lettuce in it! They're happy to add it if you ask.

Looking for a taste of the Bay Area's Gordo Taqueria in New York (down to having the exact same chairs)? Dos Toros learned from the best. $1 bag of chips is a steal.

"Gimme all your sauces", she said. Almost a PTFO midday from my plato situation. Please, arrive humble in regards to your heat tolerance or you will suffer the habanero wrath.

Easily one of the best chicken (pollo asado) burritos I've ever had. Great seating as well with a great view of the whole triangle. Eat here.

I love to read reviews, to be honest, I'm not much for writing them. After frequenting this place for over a year, however, and being consistently impressed by both the food and the service, I figure

The carnitas burrito is the correct choice. Top it off with a Negra Modelo or a Dr. Pepper. A side of chips & salsa helps if you're extra hungry.

I am a petite woman so I get one taco and a side of guacamole. I only eat some of the chips and share the rest. It's a quick, easy meal

As close as you can get to true San Francisco burritos. Looks a lot like Gordos. Carne Asada burrito is solid. Delivers ok, usually need to warm it up

Best location in the city. Ask the staff for extra rice if you pass on the tortilla -- no charge!

Make sure to get extra guac and the spiciest sauce they have! Best tacos and burritos in the west village!

Good and tasty. Worth a drop by if in the area and craving for Mexican but it's not a destination if one is on the other side of town.

Go for a quesadilla! The guac and the chipotle are very true to mexican flavors. Grab a beer. Feel the joy.

Try the Quesadilla. It's not your normal greasy cheesy quesadilla, it's more meaty and with a deliciously toasted tortilla.

Better than Chipotle. Better rice, better hot sauce, and bigger meat portions. Bowl is slightly worse because the paper bottom starts to become moist quickly.

Don't forget to get a horchata by Cup & Compass. Perfect summer drink (maybe perfect year-round drink)

Salad with half carnitas half carne asada. Cheese, tomatoes, guac, sour cream, medium salsa. Do it to it!

The hot salsa, is really hot. At first you'll be like "this isn't that bad, I dunno what that guy was talking about". But a little later after your tongue has swelt up you'll be like "tho by thod".

The burrito is a much better deal than getting 2 tacos. Same price and you get rice and beans to boot.

Try the Carne Asada Taco With Guacamole - Ask for a crispy taco! The carne asada is the most flavorful!!

The red hot sauce is pretty spicy. Ask for a mix of the milder and the hotter for max flavor.

Vegetarians- if you want a light but substantive bite get the basic taco with guac. Delish!

The food is ok, but I prefer Chipotle. A pretty nice spot and would do in a pinch if you were craving tex mex. Not the cheapest either. About $4 for a basic taco and $6 for a basic quesadilla.

They really are not joking about the spiciness of the hottest hot sauce. Medium one would be a good choice and maybe a dash of spicer sauce.

The salsas are where Dos Toros really wins against their mainstream competitors. Solid burrito, and comparable to Chipotle in price.

The hot sauce here is actually really HOT. Ask for a little. Don't try to be a hero or you'll ruin your meal.

Get the Carne Asada tacos, and do not think twice about it. "Pollo" is Spanish for "coward".
