Carnitas aren't Carnitas, but it's nice, they have guacamole, real salsa and black beans. best place in NY to eat Mexican food 🍲

Nice burritos, they're kind. I'm Mexican and approve their salsa. 😂👌

If Chiptole isn't your jam, this will be. Fresher ingredients and more smiley workers.

Good and tasty. Worth a drop by if in the area and craving for Mexican but it's not a destination if one is on the other side of town.

This isn't Chipotle, it's a much better version. Burritos are better made with better ingredients

The burritos are good but Chipotle they are not... Sadly this is a time the big corporation wins.

Steak burrito with guac all day. The habanero sauce is great but will burn the shit out of your mouth.

"Gimme all your sauces", she said. Almost a PTFO midday from my plato situation. Please, arrive humble in regards to your heat tolerance or you will suffer the habanero wrath.

    Jillian Seroka · December 25, 2014

As close as you can get to true San Francisco burritos. Looks a lot like Gordos. Carne Asada burrito is solid. Delivers ok, usually need to warm it up

    Elliot Wehner · December 24, 2014
  • Jeff P.

Dece burritos but mostly just a nice quick option in a neighborhood severely lacking in street food that isn't pizza

    Jeff Petriello · November 3, 2014
  • Chet M.

The salsas are where Dos Toros really wins against their mainstream competitors. Solid burrito, and comparable to Chipotle in price.

    Chet Mancini · October 31, 2014
  • Kyle S.

Gotta have the carnitas. Watch out for the habanero salsa! It's delicious but intense.

    Kyle Seever · October 18, 2014

It's like Chipotle, but better ... Much better.

    Elias Wehbe · October 9, 2014

Get there close to closing time and you can probably score a free bag of chips 👍

  • Terry P.

If you're lucky you may spot Louis ck here, I've seen him twice

    Terry Poveda · August 15, 2014
  • Thomas M.

Better than Chipotle. Better rice, better hot sauce, and bigger meat portions. Bowl is slightly worse because the paper bottom starts to become moist quickly.

    Thomas Mo · August 15, 2014
  • Ian W.

The carnitas burrito is the correct choice. Top it off with a Negra Modelo or a Dr. Pepper. A side of chips & salsa helps if you're extra hungry.

    Ian Westcott · August 13, 2014
  • Astryd R.

    Tacos of course.

    Astryd Rosa · August 10, 2014

Best SF style burritos in NYC. Skip chipotle and go here.

    Michael Dempsey · August 9, 2014
  • Tim F.

This place is a solid alternative to chipotle. Same structure with a different flavor. The hot sauce is very hot.

    Tim Faustini · August 7, 2014
  • Weston James B.

Better than Chipotle, in every way.

    Weston James Barker · August 7, 2014
  • Cassy

Probably the worst Mexican place in NYC. Food is decent but not worth dealing with the unaccommodating, rude and slow service. Go elsewhere.

    Cassy · May 5, 2014
  • Kelsey L.

Make sure to get extra guac and the spiciest sauce they have! Best tacos and burritos in the west village!

    Kelsey Lee · March 26, 2014
  • Fernanda O.

Go for a quesadilla! The guac and the chipotle are very true to mexican flavors. Grab a beer. Feel the joy.

    Fernanda Obregon · March 24, 2014

Try the new smoke sauce. It's Dos Toros' answer to Chipotle's chipotle Tabasco sauce.

    Nick Patrick · January 27, 2014
  • James G.

    Because its better than Chipotle

    James Gibbons · December 28, 2013
  • Ariel V.

Try the Quesadilla. It's not your normal greasy cheesy quesadilla, it's more meaty and with a deliciously toasted tortilla.

    Ariel Viera · December 17, 2013
  • Jaison C.

Heard their pork buritos are amazing!

    Jaison Coles · December 7, 2013
  • Hüüi P.

They really are not joking about the spiciness of the hottest hot sauce. Medium one would be a good choice and maybe a dash of spicer sauce.

    Hüüi Park · December 5, 2013

Try the Cup n Compass drinks. The Rosemary Limeade is great

The red hot sauce is pretty spicy. Ask for a mix of the milder and the hotter for max flavor.
