DT brings the SF taqueria experience to NYC! We use the finest ingredients, have a terrific team, and deliver uncompromising excellence, one burrito at a time.
Extremely better and fresher than chipotle. You don't walk out feeling stuffed after devouring their plate.
Anything pollo adado here is amazing
What's not to like its Dos Toros! Better meats than Chipotle hands down
A small menu but everything on it is crafted on site from scratch and incredibly tasty. I had the carnitas tacos and they blew my mind. And the sauces! Just say yes. This place is a gem.
Everything!!delicious quesadillas and tomatillo sauce
The staff was friendly the half chicken half carnitas burrito was pretty good too. Cheap beer and "pre-meltedcheese" tortilla is a plus.
The quesadillas are so good.
Like Chipolte but they have awesome habanero hot sauce
Burritos are amazing
Great taste, decent options will totally visit again. Carne not necessarily served warm in the tacos. Quesedillas are served hot though
Spicy salsa is habanero, beware with how much you ask to be served, you've been was warned
Not cheap and feels like a slightly better copy of chipotle.
Carne Asada plate !
The tacos taste more authentic compared to most of the other taquerias in NYC (I'm from Texas so Mexican food from there is my baseline). A bit pricey for portion/quality. Hot sauce is on point.
Once you come here you'll never go to chipotle again.
It's good, but I wouldn't call it Mexican; it's very similar to Chipotle. The redeeming quality is that their extra hot sauce IS hot, and their carnitas are good.
Sadly not what it used to be, they've really dropped the ball...
The setup was a lot like chipotle. The carne asada was amazing, phenomenally better than chipotle on its best day. They put a strip of MontereyJack cheese in the burrito before warming there tortilla.
Carnitas Taco: $4.13
Fuck chipotle, this is where you get a killer burrito. Everybody at my school eats here for lunch every day.
So much better than Chipotle.
Their hot sauce has a kick to it, but it's goood
Get the carne asada quesadilla with salsa, guacamole, sour cream & a tad bit of picante sauce!
Amazing burritos! Be sure you know what you're getting into if you order with hot sauce.
Far better than Chipotle -- do yourself a favor and head to one of Dos Toros' few NYC locations instead. If you like stuff super hot, try a tiny bit of the habanero sauce.
I really enjoyed the soft shell tacos. The meet and beef are cooked to perfection. The green salsa is very spicy but so good!
Love the habanero hot sauce! If you like spicy it's a must add!
Very cheap and tasty, refill included (:
Loved the carnitas quesadilla. Affordable and very very good
It's ok. You're not a terrible person if you don't want guac
I'm not a soft taco person but the chicken and beef tacos here are excellent and made of very fresh ingredients. Skip the salsa though; it is very bland.
Beware the habanero hot sauce. Mighty tasty, but if not properly mixed in with contents of your entree and evenly distributed, will burn your mouth.
Brill! And the hot sauce is hawt!
Try the Rosemary Limeade! It's incredible if you like lemonade.
Never had a quesadilla like this before, but it was pretty amazing.
Great food, great prices. Can't go wrong :)
Probably the best guac on the UES. Ditch Chipotle, this is the place!
Way better than chipotle!
Get the Basic Quesadilla (rice and beans) and add steak. It's like a heavenly mini grilled burrito.
Not sure why everyone raves about this place. Cold leftover chicken and the weirdest tasting guacamole I've ever had.
Carne Asada Quesadilla with the mild sauce, your tummy will sincerely thank you.
Great place for lunch.
That hot sauce is HOT. Taste buds melting
Chipotle is the much better option, at least for vegetarians. I've been here twice and was disappointed on both occasions.
So good! Basic burrito and the chips with guacamole! Can't beat the price!
I love burrito but this one sticks to your teeth as if it's not well cooked, if there's a way to change tht
You MUST get the EXTRA hot sauce (the red stuff.) it makes the burrito.
This place actually beats most trendy MX restaurants on taste. The taco bowl is most satisfying.
the most SF-style burritos in the city
