Very friendly staff! You get your hot cookie upon check-in :) I got my free wifi in the room as there was some technical problem. Situated in the heart of Manhattan. very happy to choose this hotel

The room was dirty and the noise level made sleeping difficult. One of the few hilton hotels I world nor come back to.

Just to let you know, they don't pick up when you call the reception :) you have to go all the way to them to ask for whatever you want ! I regret this stay 💔

I never hated a hotel like I hated this one ! Today is my last day and they made my stay miserable .. Don't expect any help from the front desk they are super rude and they don't want to work.

Worst experience ever. The personnel is rude and they treat you as they are doing you a favor. I lost a business appointment thx to a bellmen. Never staying here again. The food is also awful.

Very friendly staff and a great price for the area. Subway on next block.

Bullshit charge of $2 per bag if you arrive before official check-in time - first time a hotel has EVER charged me for this. Disgraceful for a Hilton.

    Lynn Goh · June 30, 2014
  • Ingrid N.

No coffee in room and not enough outlets plus charge to store luggage- rooms good size which is nice

    Ingrid Nagy · May 7, 2014

Decent stay...walked out on a doorman demanding cash to hold one tote bag. It felt good.

    Sara Allen · April 27, 2014

This place is awful! Avoid hosting your event here at all costs! We are presently having a very high level seminar at this venue and the management & staff have been rude and uncooperative. Avoid!!!

Internet is sooo slow. Not worth the 15$ a day

    Amélie Therrien · March 12, 2014

$2 to check a bag and $2 to get it back. Really? What a racket. Also no cookie when I checked in.

Rooms decent. Terrible internet and of all hilton hotels in NY (and I have been to almost all) the worst service. Everyone here hates their job, possibly life completely. Convenient to grand central.

    Kelly Dennis · December 5, 2013

$15/day/device for internet access. Hilton makes it impossible to conduct business from your room! I'm from Silicon Valley and free Internet access is always included at other hotels. Get w the times!

Got upgraded, room is beautiful! Also I LOVE doubletree toiletries, better than any other hilton property!

It's cold. They don't have heater in room. But you can ask extra heater to the frontdesk

Smallest Room in NY, no fridge, no coffee pot, and very expensive. The location is convenient but doesn't worth it

Room is clean and remodeled! Very modern got a cookie!

Charging for internet access? Is this still the 90s here?

    Aaron Saunders · August 29, 2013

They don't lend umbrellas when it's raining. Sad that this common courtesy has been lost. Lack of coffee maker and fridge also disappointing, but the beds are comfortable.

    Paris Martin · August 16, 2013

90 minutes to get two lousy foam pillows. I requested no down pillows and got 4 of them. How does it take 90 minutes to get two foam pillows?

    Johnny Norberto · July 27, 2013

I would happily give up the free cookie for a coffee maker in my room, free wifi, and not being charged $4 for holding my bags. There are so many better hotels in the city for the same money. Avoid!

    Sarah · July 26, 2013
  • Rob S.

Rooms are small for the price, WiFi blows ass from the room, have to go to the lobby to get a consistent connection. Not the best, but not the worst place I've stayed in

    Rob Sutton · July 9, 2013

Great place! Have some minuses but who doesnt? I would visit again!

Be prepared to pay $14-$16 daily for the worst interest service..... This hotel needs to get with the times of free wireless wifi in all areas of the hotel.

    Melly · June 29, 2013

No coffee maker, no cheaper hotels u get all that included....very disappointed at DoubleTree.

Worst Hilton property I have stayed at in years! No coffee maker in the room, rude service and awful breakfast. Add to that small cramped rooms that you can not move around in we will not be back.

    Susan Fassbender · October 28, 2012
  • Lindsay S.

Adjust the thermostat? What a joke. There is no heat in here... I've been shaking in the sheets at night. What a terrible hotel. Not even a coffee maker for some hot beverages. This place sucks.

    Lindsay Steedman · October 12, 2012
  • Lindsay S.

Reception at this hotel is the worst. Don't be fooled by the modern decor of the lobby, the treatment is more like the ghetto d o u b l e t r e e sign on the side of the building. No executive lounge.

    Lindsay Steedman · October 12, 2012

Great location, great price, great cookies...and looks amazing since the renovations!
