The DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel in New Orleans LA offers fantastic downtown New Orleans location just four blocks from New Orleans Convention Center and located directly across the street from Harrah’s Casino...
Wifi is costly, Staff indifferent, and the rooms are not sound dampened
Good location, close to everything but still quiet.
It's next to Saks. Life doesn't get much better than that.
Free wifi in the lobby!
Wifi, it's not free but in the lobby you can find it.
Rooms are quite noisy. They offer very little in terms of Diamond benefits. The other Hilton properties nearby at least try to accommodate you with upgraded rooms.
Beware as a Diamond HHonors you will pay extra for the buffet breakfast. The ac barely cooled room 831 and after a maint visit it still didn't work, we had to move to 1331 and still bad ac. 75degrees
Stay somewhere else if you plan on using valet! Attendants haven't answered the phone once during my stay and never seem to be around. Breakfast with diamond comp is still $8.50
Hotel was ok, bed was super comfortable. Large TV. Bathrooms were really small, counter came to my knee. Nice location, easy walk every where.
Front desk representative is not courteous and doesn't need too work the front desk if not people friendly
Fantastic hotel, great location, amazing staff. Absolutely no complaints.
They have a problem with the water here- it's a million degrees warm (sink, shower, toilet!). Also, even if you ice it, I wouldn't drink it- it was black a couple of times briefly over our 3-day stay.
Wifi is terrible.
Super thin walls. If your neighbor snores, you'll hear it.
Nice hotel, free warm cookie when you check in. Bathrooms are a little small. I would definitely come here again
Checkin opens at 3 been waiting for two hours in the lobby
Cheap ass hotel laundry bag broke and spilled my bag of drugs in the front lobby. Avoid cheap ass laundry bag!
The worst Doubletree I have ever stayed at. Go someplace else.
Hit the downstairs bar for a German shot
Mothers restaurant is two blocks away....make it happen, best breakfast ever...
In town for Final Four? AT&T Fan Zone will be the hottest spot at Bracket Town. Stop by 3/30/12 - 4/2/12 to play with the newest AT&T handsets, meet college coaches, shoot hoops, and win great prizes!
The hot breakfast downstairs is not very good.
Breakfast in Lobby and streetcar stop right out the door.
Id rather eat a baboons bum than give money to this pisshole chain. Avoid like piles.
Pinkberry right next it! Great frozen yogurt! Friendly front end staff! Great cookies!
Great location and their pillows are the best!
This Doubletree: New Orleans is at the Mississippi Welcome Center on I59 near the Alabama border...interesting
So many fine bitches here. You don't even know
A beautiful french-style city
Great towels and cookies. Friendly staff. Great location.
Chk in daily
Excellent location, no problems with noisy neighbors whatsoever!
Bartenders/ waiters here are the best. Tip well!
Can hear every flush and entering/exit of your neighbors' doors. Decent hotel but definitely not quiet. Good location though.
Cockaroach in my room, stained ceiling and carpet. Staff was nice, warm cookies.
Like most other New Orleans hotels, valet leaves something to be desired. One person works in the early morning; calling down won't help unless you catch him between retrieving cars. Allow 20 mins.
Nice location but paper thin walls. I had to listen to the argument next door for an hour one night.
The walls are paper thin. You can hear everything going on in the rooms.
No need for a car if you attend a conference. The hotel is located between the conv ctr and the superdome
