Located in the center of the Portland metro area, the DoubleTree by Hilton Portland is the largest hotel within walking distance of the Oregon Convention Center, Rose Garden Arena and Portland Memorial Coliseum...
Wonderful meeting rooms in the executive center ... I wish all hotels were this great in their set up.
Room service is fast but the crab Mac and cheese is disappointing! 😔😔😔😔
Muy buena ubicación, cerca del Convention Center, frente a plaza comercial y muy cerca esta avión del tren...
Awesome location. Very close to a lot of food places. Walking distance to Lloyd centre. 24 hr security on the parking lot. This hotel has a great gym! Way better than most hotel gyms.
Staff here was very accommodating and helpful.
An older hotel that definitely needs some work. The downstairs was nice and updated but the rooms and exhibit hall were 80's. The rooms and bathrooms need some help. But close to MAX and a mall.
Attending the World Aquatic Health Conference
Apart from the time-saving proximity to mass transit, the rooms have waste paper receptacles partitioned for trash and recyclables.
Portland for HRCI!
taxi to and from airport expensive, but late at night worth the money. Local wineries worth visiting...best Reisling we have found outside NYS.
Missing your fridge? They're delivered to your room "on request".

The signature cookie is addictive!
This is the meeting place for Portlandia's Steampunk Convention in S3 E8.
$20/nt parking -we got a $78+tax room rate, but upon checkin we got a $20 surprise.
Ask for a room with a balcony. Mount Hood on one side of the hotel, downtown Portland on the other. Can't lose!
OMG we checked into our room, turned on the lights and we had cockroaches in our room. GROSS!!!!!!!!!
The restaurant, "Gather" is absolutely excellent (even when not judged as a hotel restaurant.)
Sunday breakfast buffet is a wonderful deal and delicious!
Had best meal ever less than a mile away from hotel Toro Bravo - great atmosphere and yummy food. We drive but could walk if feeling adventurous!
The MAX station is only 1 block away. Take it from the airport for a quick walk to the hotel. Also, request a room with a mountain view. On clear days you can see three area peaks.
Great metro-city hotel while you are in Portland! Comfy bed, great desk for working, great spaces around hotel for lil impromptu meetings, near shopping, on Max light rail line. Highly recommend!
MAX rail is no longer free, even within downtown, since September 2012. Appreciate the concierge letting us know and giving us a free day pass.
Max is now $2.50.
This hotels team members ROCK
If you're hungry, try the Chicken Wrap at Gather at lunch. Delicious!
This hotel is great! Wonderful service
Nice hotel, but I can hear everything my neighbor is doing! Electric toothbrush, television, music :(
Fast, free WiFi with no captive portal.
I've a few complaints about my room, BUT...service/staff was exceptional (8/9 out of 10) in helpful/friendliness. Jen at the desk, adorable; b'fast buffet staff, concierge staff, bartenders (Jason?).
Tamara and maple (semi sweet) roasted hazelnuts, surpassed only by Kashmir's jazz/wine bar in Scottsdale FRESH oven roasted hazelnuts served hot in wooden bowls.
For all us smokers...... the 9th floor has balconies!!!
Super easy to get here' from the airport via MAX!
Ask for a warm cookie when you arrive!
Good food inside, plus an espresso bar. Throw in free wi/fi in the lobby. Try it
Great selection of local beers at the lobby bar. Food is good too. Fresh, local and organic.
If you wait in the lobby long enough, you might see stars. Many celebs stay here when in town.
JUST CHECkd In xD MY RoooM is SOO NICE hahhaha
The cookies are excellent!
Great location, good room plugs
Nice hotel but not a fan of the Queen room setup. The sink outside of the bathroom is not ideal.
Take the MAX rail to get here from PDX. 30 min. $2.35!
Bike rentals are complimentary for guests who want to explore on two wheels. Check with the front desk to learn more. There is also covered bike parking available in garage open to the public if you w
