People tend to check in during these times:
If you want to get some turns in before a trip out west and you live in southeast MI...go here. It rocks and the terrain parks rule. And you have access to some of the best instructors in the biz...
Love this venue! Forever Pine knob! Check out the bar/eatery behind the hill for some great Mac and cheese and draft beer selections! Usually a spot to sit down, relax and enjoy some grub.
This was one of my favorite venues on my Get Sleazy tour. Kickass place to play on a warm summer night- the venue is halfway inside and halfway outside. Alice Cooper played the night after I left!
I remember back in the day it was known as Pine Knob. Not a ton has changed, especially the dirty bathrooms, but it's the best venue around for a rock concert.
You're not too far from the iconic Rudy's Market. Check them out as they carry lots of Made in Michigan products, great pizza, beer, & wine selection.
Been here a ton of times and even worked here love the crowds and the concerts always rock the house. Awesome place in the summer..
Box office is open for the summer: M-F 10-6, Sat 10-4, only open Sunday if there's an event(10:00am)
If the concert you're at isn't that great, leave during the encore and save an hour of extra travel time home.
Bring ear plugs for your own safety. Lynard Skynard was so over amped that their sound was distorted. It took three days before my hearing returned to normal.
Gotta tailgate and drink in parking lot before go inside. Drinks $22 for frozen daquiri and jack and coke inside.
Be forewarned, smoking is permitted in the lawn seating area!
Such an amazing venue! My personal favorite. They host amazing metal concerts!!
Best place to see a concert in metro Detroit hands down(lawn or pavilion)!!!
Great sound quality. The lawn can get a bit rowdy. A few bruises are good for you anyway.
Ozzy & Sabbath were great! Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler & their young drummer were fabulous! My ears were ringing for hours after the concert! :-D
The sound is not perfect and this is the kind of venue that does not help gigs to gain energy (despite the venue's name :) )
Pavillion seats are always worth the extra money (instead of buying lawn tickets!)
Amazing time tonight.. next time we will spend the extra for the seats but we still had a great time and Tim put on a amazing show
Don't forget to bring your own plastic cups! Drinks have to be in them :-O
Great venue, horrible traffic. Take a side entrance in, ruin your night trying to get out - 2 hours to get out after Jimmy Buffett concert!
It was a great time with Ringo Star. And even better after a drink.
So many drunk teenagers... people under 21 need to learn the concept of a designated driver & expect to have beer dumped on you
Bring your bike! Bike parking is best, right by gate!
Loved it!! As usual beers are through the roof. Get tipsy before! I had so much fun.
You need to come here to really #Live. Great amphitheater!!
The top of the hill gives you the best view at night time!
get drunk before you get here because the drinks are way too expensive
Do not buy a Grouping for a mAjor concert. They overlooked
With a handicap sticker, parking is convenient.
Spend a little more and sit under the pavilion. Stay off the lawn.
The plastic guitars filled with fruity alcohol are 14 bucks so dont be shocked.
See a show in the summer and get lawn seats.
They don't like full size folding lawn chairs on the lawn.
Plan ahead use Detroit Designated Driver to get you and your car home safe. 313-409-8020
The nice black man selling shirts in the parking lot has great customer service skills!!!!!
Hands down the best outdoor venue in the state of Michigan. I remember when they called it Pine Knob...
Sit in the lawn!! Great view!!
Stay away from the old people selling merchandise, they are so SLOW!!!!
Sunday Night @ DTE w/ my girls!!! :-)
Drafts are cheaper but you're paying for half a cup of foam
Sunday Night @ DTE w/ my girls!!!
Always a great time! You'll find me checked in at Pine Knob
Great concert venue Ted Nugent Rocks
Mixed drinks not strong enough for $11
Make sure you hide that camera well!
Mazda is treating us well here. VIP parking!
Don't believe the time they say that the gate opens
Reminds me of Pine Knob Music Theater.
Solo cups are a must when you tailgate!
