Built between 1208 and 1220, this complex represents some of the oldest surviving architecture in the city, and was the centre of English power in Ireland for over seven centuries until it was taken of by the Irish Free State in 1922.
Take the tour, it is worth it!
This place was ok but I was expecting better as its called a castle.

Check out the tea room after your tour for a spot of tea and a scone.
Lovely quiet spot in central Dublin. Be sure to visit the Chester Beatty library
Very interesting way to reuse an old castle :)
Chandeliers, art works
elephant and castle
Nothing special. -.-
Download the Dublin Castle app.
От средневековой архитектуры сохранилось немного, но башня (без зубцов) - 13 век
Take the guided tour. You can't access the underground part of the castle otherwise. The stories and sights are enough for your money.
Conheça a capela e os apartamentos. Bom passeio
Great guided tour and excellent castle😊
The guided tour is well worth taking. Really interesting place
Faithless with dado
Надо вернуться посмотреть с экскурсией. Без экскурсии красиво но не понятно.
Only walked around the castle never went in but it's super cool to view nonetheless.
Great place to visit, great square and the interior is fascinating!warning: the tudors was also filmed here, in the chapel, what a magestic place!
There is a guided your hourly and allows you to see the archaeological digs that you can't see if you go solo
Make sure you check the opening hours - the church was only open till 4 but the castle is open till 5, so we missed out on the church.
Both inside and out, Dublin Castle is an impressive building steeped in history. Take your time to walk around and really immerse yourself in the surroundings.
I didn't like it, it's not preserved, it's unorganised
Von außen gesehen
Hermosa la torre que sin preservan!
Allez le premier mercredi du mois les tickets sont gratuit :) visiter le coach house il y a un jardin magnifique.
Free wifi: Dublin2014
First Wednesdays of the month are free admission
Go inside. Easily worth the 4.50
We can visit the castle for free on first wednesday of every month
Not big deal... This castle doesn't show how was the real castle hundreds of years ago. Edinburgh's castle is much more impressive.
Wow. It was a great day.
I recommend Dublin Castle
Well, life is always changing.

If you only get to one castle in Ireland make it Dublin Castle. (Dublin Visitors http://www.dublin1.webs.com)
Free Access to Dublin Castle on First Wednesday of Every Month
There are a number of public car parks nearby.
NOT a must-see in Dublin- the rooms lacked furniture.
Le parc derriere l'entrée du chateau est sympa. Que des visites de groupe a 5€
Sometimes if there is official business going on you won't be able to see certain parts so ask first. You'll also probably have to wait for available tour times some plan ahead.
Nice tribute to Veronica Guerin in the Gardens (under the walkway)
Much better than the castles we have in New York.
First Wednesday of the month is free! get there early (first tour 10.15) and enjoy :)
