Covering over 24 hectares (59 acres) of Phoenix Park, it is divided into areas named World of Cats, World of Primates, The Kaziranga Forest Trail, Fringes of the Arctic, African Plains, Birds, Reptiles, Plants, City Farm and Endangered Species.
A dry day destination.
A great enjoyable zoo for adults & especially kids
Lots of animals, friendly staff.
Great zoo with great animals. Great for kids as well.
Start with the lions and end with the meerkats. Fun place for the family.
Didn't feel the animals were all that happy. Don't like zoos.
So expensive but it has a very impressive lake view with a peaceful atmosphere.
Great day out for any age! Sea lions get feed at 2.30 don't miss it!
Aasian ja Afrikan eläimiä lähes luonnollisessa ympäristössä. Kiraffit, leijonat ja tiikerit.
I don't think this needs an to be explained. I just love Dublin zoo. Got to see the elephants being fed, all was quiet as it was during the week and got to speak to the zoo keepers. Never gets old.
Many animals are fed early in the morning and in Summer time the animalistic
Check out the baby elephant born July 2014
African planes when it's sunny
Take it slowly, it is worth it.
Please check official daily activities so you won't miss them.
Обширная территория и простор для животных. Московский зоопарк по сравнению с Дублинским - комуналка!
If you wanne beat the line. Go online and buy a prepaid ticket on
No need for a watch. The rain starts 40 minutes before closing
The African sanctuary is very nice.
Great coffee and delicious food for little ones - look out for the Mercats!
Excellent zoo day....
ثالث أقدم حديقة حيوان في أوروبا
You have to follow the map carefully to find some animals (red pandas, for example, are tough to locate) but this is a great zoo with lots of very photogenic animals, so bring your camera!
A great place to bring the kids
Great place for a picnic!
Had a lovely time
There is a hidden path down the side is the Nakuru restaurant, follow this to a hidden hut by the lake side. Excellent secluded spot for lunch
The red pandas are lovely! Didn't even know there was such thing :)
Insufficient toilet facilities that are far from one another. :(
Sealion feeding time was amazing.. Great day out for all ages
Went for a family trip in 2003 and stayed in a bed and breakfast. Travelled to Trinity College and went to the Dublin Zoo for the day and saw this tiger climbing.
There are several cafes and kiosk around the zoo serving delicious sandwiches, hot coffee, pizza, ice cream and more.
The zoo has a lot of places to rest and vending machines dotted along the route for a quick drink or snack
Don't miss the little show they do at the sea lions' stand!. It is fun!.
Amazing zoo!!! Animals have loads of space and you can see them anytime!
Brilliant day out for the kids. Go early on the weekend to avoid crowds.
Snow Leopard and the Red Panda are the best <3
Great inititive to upgrade the Zoo so visitors can get even closer to the animals - don't be afraid to visit soon!!!
Best for Gorilla's, Orangatans, Tigers, Elephants. The African plains area with Zebra, Giraffes and Rhinos etc. Need more Penguins tho. :-D Lion deceased, which was sad. :-(
Takes a few hours and a lot of walking to get round. Most of the animal viewing areas are good but they use reflective glass which hinders shots of resting areas in some places.
It's a nice place to visit at any age. Red panda and polar owl are the best!
The T-Rex paddock was a bit of a snooze fest. Even after they brought in the goat.
A great Zoo!
The monkeys have a pink ass
Great place, especially for animals :) I wish every Italian zoo could be like Dublin's.
Zoo is divided into areas named World of Cats, World of Primates, The Kaziranga Forest Trail, Fringes of the Arctic, African Plains, Birds, Reptiles, Plants, City Farm and Endangered Species
Asian Lions - new addition & enclosure from next week!!!
You can watch the meerkats over your lunch - their enclosure is in the restaurant!
Always get a family year ticket - it worth it - family, friends and a good cause
