Very long way to city centre.
If you have a layover, it's worth grabbing a taxi and getting out for a bit. Head toward old town and find a restaurant with a view. The city is gorgeous!
Small airport. It's nice and clean but there are very few shops.
Very small airport, needs serious reconstruction; however new buildings are on the way. Very friendly officers and staff. However as it is small, consider additional time at check in and security.
İçeride kediler dolaşan enteresan yer :) Dışarıdaki kiralık araba parkı havaalanından daha büyük gerçekten. Olabildiğince geç gelin buraya yapacak, yiyecek hiç bişi yok burada.
No restaurants. What a shame.
The Lannisters welcome you to the airport of King's Landing, Westeros. Winter doesn't come here ;)
If there's one thing you could do while visiting Dubrovnik, definitely climb and explore 2 kms of the Old City Walls! Enjoy the lovely views and enjoy Dubrovnik!!
Not exactly the friendliest and most competent staff...
If you have time, make sure to visit free-shop to purchase Plavac Mali wine. Gorgeous gift and the real taste of Croatian islands.
Have your drinks and smokes at the outside Resto before you check in.
15 min free wifi after signup (zld-guest network)
Clean & relatively small airport with minimal facilities. Only 1 lounge for all airlines, so gets full pretty quickly but reasonable choice of drinks & nibbles (no hot meals). Rental cars 3 mins walk.
35 kuna for a bus transfer to the Pile Gate in the old town of Dubrovnik. A taxi will apparently run you 200-300 kuna.
My high was the discovery of the jewellery shop, M.Negrin
Make sure to check in online and come straight to the boarding. Not much to do.
Check out Skycellar before you even walk into the airport. It's an enormous cave under (yes, under) the runway.
The savoury cheese and spinach pastry from caffe lindo is good!
Boring place to be. Duty free used to be much better. Slow service at the restaurant. Also expensive one.
A nice "Konavle" express restaurant with local cuisine, just around the corner from the airport!
Had to pay 50 HRK for wifi :-/
Only one piece of luggage allowed. The second is charged 50 €. - @ Croatia Airlines
Nell' aeroporto di Dubrovnik, EasyJet non ha il check-in desk dedicato (e tantomeno quello x lo speedy boarding)
No free wifi I need to pay 50 kuna per hour
New airport has duty free and cafe/bars which serve sandwiches and hot and cold drinks.
Ja i Milorad Pupovac. ŠTA REĆI?
Horrible experience with Active Rent-A-Car in Dubrovnik, the whole history at:http://activerent-croatia.blogspot.com/2011/08/active-rent-car-history-of-how-been.html
Eat only Ledo ice cream. The rest is tasteless.
Coffee bar accepts Euros and US dollars in addition to Kuhnas.
Wi-fi is not free anymore. Gotta pay 50 kuna for access.
If you want to rent a car, do *not* rent it at Sixt. Was ripped off in hundreds of euros of insurances I explicitly opted out of. Terrible experience, for such a lovely city / country.
There is a restaurant, you just have to leave the main building and go towards the tower
Totally agree about the ice cream, true for the entire country
If you are just arriving to Croatia be warned; the ice cream is awful.
No restaurants here, just a coffee bar. Don't come with an empty stomach if you have a long wait.
